ordered a seafood Tom Yum soup and was really disappointed. The soup was extremely bland with almost no Tom Yum flavor, and the “seafood” only included some vegetables, two prawns, and one squid ring. For the price and expectation, it really didn’t feel worth it. Hope the restaurant can improve the taste and ingredients.

Their lunch deal is really a life-saver for both students and workers around the Caulfield Station. They serve a variety of popular Thai dishes and some ‘hardcore’ menu like steamed whole Barramundi, Crying Tiger and so on.

Derby Thai is one of my staple restaurants whenever I’m passing Caulfield station and don’t feel like cooking that night. Strongly recommend checking it out of you’re in the area!
Very fast prep times, good prices, and reliably good food. Definitely more of a takeaway place though as the seating area is quite small and very loud as it’s next to the open wok kitchen, but the food more than makes up for the dine in experience
