Trucker here, I parked next door and saw the awesome reviews here. I’ve been to many, many places across this great country, however in all my travels and as good as the reviews were, they still didn’t do this establishment the true justice of how excellent of a restaurant/diner this place truly is!
A truly rare gem of an eatery! I will be stopping back every and any chance I get for as long as I’m out here rolling the highways!
I had the Western Sandwich (slow roasted roast beef, mashed potatoes and beef gravy over sandwich bread) and homemade chicken noodle bowl of soup. I was stuffed but could not pass on trying the also homemade Oreo Cheesecake (phenomenally created by this lovely owner’s teenage daughter)
Also bought three very nicely crafted and designed copper bracelets for my wife and two girls. I cannot get over how perfectly satisfying it was to get a loving and warm homemade meal today! Thank you so much and God Bless you wonderful folks. I truly appreciate your warm environment and conversation. I will be back to try that San Juan very soon too!

This place is the perfect spot off the highway for a, what it feels like, home cooked meal. We got there at 830 and they were closing at 9 and served us super fast. What a great spot. I keep thinking about the meal! We left a 5$ Canadian bill behind too for the collection.

Right off the interstate bypass the truck stop and go here instead! Home cooking that is worth the wait (if they’re busy like they were yesterday). Our server Jenny was wonderful. Do not miss the homemade buffalo chips!! Nice little gift shop as well

I gave 4, but it’s closer to a 4.5. I could only eat half of my sandwich – there was enough meat for 2.5 sandwiches. Pretty good peach cobbler. (Photo was after I had eaten nearly half)
