I was just passing through from Los Angeles to Mexico and I was having trouble with the app for a ‘buy an item over a $1 and get a burger’. I was struggling but the Manager “Manh” was very helpful, informal and patiently taught me- not only how to use the app but how to navigate it for next time. I now know how the point system works. Wow this is the best Carl’s Jr I have been to in a while! The burger actually looked like the picture and everyone was super nice when I went yesterday. The manager and kitchen staff was great. I always go to Carlsbad village carls jr. And their Burger is always flat and smashed. And looks nothing like the picture.

This Carls Jr never has soap in the men’s bathroom. I asked staff does the staff use the same bathroom as us? They confirmed yes. They also confirmed that they “never” put soap in the men’s restroom. Do not eat at this location.

They were so rude everything was thrown. My fries were thrown and spilt all over the counter to the floor. I told them to please please change their gloves and they refused to do what I asked they ignored me so customers had to tell them just change their gloves for the lady and her child. Daisy one of the cooks was adjetated and over worked. She said we can get our money back and we can later tell the Manager but we can not have special place for your allergies this is no the right environment”. She also said we can not do any special orders you’re just going to have to take the burger the way it is, I don’t have the time I am by myself working and I have other customers to tend to.” I had to feed my daughter coming back from a long trip from San Diego. The onion rings were broken and soggy. They had low stock of food when customers asked for their Hawaiian chicken sandwich they had nothing left which made a lot of customers leave mad. This was the most chaotic thing I have ever seen in a restaurant. With a license to cook and sell food by the state of California. This was discussting the trash was everywhere and the trash was can full and overloaded. The bathroom was a nightmare urine not flushed and tissue all over the ground. One of the managers was just sitting on her phone doing nothing ignoring everything and not caring about what’s going on. They need to all be wrote up for this juvenile work and attitude they have.

The Carl’s Jr app is horrible. It never let’s me add my receipt barcode for stars, unless I do it 10x. It always said I already used the stars which is a lie because I just ordered my food and am sitting here waiting for it. Worst application for rewards ever. This receipt for my triple burger doesn’t even have reward points barcode, total scam

The staff are rude, you can tell the fries are old and fried in old oil. The chicken tenders and filet for the sandwiches were way too salty, old, and damn near burnt. I’ve worked at a kfc in the past and I can tell you the standards here are far below what they should be. Seriously don’t go here.

Customer service is definitely not their best attribute. Half the sodas were out. Pretty pricey, and other reviews say this is because they aren’t a franchise, somehow? At least the onion rings were hot and fresh. Next time, I’ll stop up elsewhere.
