Corporate Slop Bowls!
I was really excited to try Cava after hearing good things. Below is my food vs the photo of it online. Portions are small, almost no lettuce or rice. So I called the restaurant… couldn’t get through. couldn’t leave a voicemail.
Emailed them via the looking for some explanation… they told me to make a rewards account LOL. I will not be back.
Oh and the meatballs were so dry and I’ve been having indigestion all afternoon. 🙁

The food here is absolutely delicious! However, the service can be inconsistent. Every time I visit, it sometimes feels like it’s everyone’s first day staff may not notice you entering and continue with their tasks before acknowledging you. Lines can get long, often because the cook is also helping train the cashier on billing. Great food, but service could use a bit more polish.

This place is an absolute gem. From the moment the warm, fluffy pita hit the table with that garlicky whipped toum and silky hummus, I knew I was in for something special. Every dish was perfectly executed: the charred steak tender yet smoky, the lamb juicy with a crispy fat cap, the falafel somehow light and crunchy at the same time. The flavors just kept building, never a single off note. I was in full food-coma bliss. Not one bite disappointed, right down to the last crumb. Impeccable seasoning, generous portions, warm service, and vibes that make you want to linger for hours. Easily one of the best Mediterranean meals I’ve ever had. Run, don’t walk.

Zack & Keegan at the Colorado Blvd location are absolutely phenomenal! Even during a crazy rush, they were incredibly accommodating, kind, and genuinely patient. You can clearly see how hard they’re working, yet they never let the pressure affect their attitude or the quality of service.
They made the entire experience smooth, welcoming, and honestly impressive. It’s rare to see a team handle a busy rush with that level of professionalism and positivity. Their work ethic and customer care truly stand out.

This is absolutely not a reflection of the two staff members working tonight (Zach and a young woman) who were lovely and working as fast as possible. There is NEVER enough staff at this location and this is 100% the management’s fault. There is no possible way that this staff could keep up with the volume of online orders and in person orders. Management either needs to implement a policy of pausing online orders at a certain point or HIRE MORE PEOPLE. They are setting these poor staff members up to fail. Shame on you!

So I come in wanting a steak and feta… I find out they are out of steak. Now you could be saying “then why the 5 stars” well it because I got the best service EVER! Mona was the best to me. She gave me a sample of the new cinnamon pita chip with honey dip as she made my food. She had me laughing and made sure I got the best food possible. Best experience I could have asked for.
