Had a wonderful experience at Little India in downtown Denver. The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic Indian flavors. We tried a few curries and naan, and everything was fresh, well-spiced, and perfectly cooked. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the service was quick. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, making it a great spot for both casual dining and special occasions. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving good Indian food in Denver!

I ended up at this restaurant by accident. Google—and an AI-generated set of directions—led me to a BBQ spot, but when I arrived, it turned out to be an Indian restaurant. Since I love Indian food and the place looked like a decent sit-down option, I decided to stay.

Prices are moderate. When I go to an Indian restaurant, I usually order lamb or goat. Not wanting to gamble too much, I chose lamb and confirmed twice with the server that it would be tender. Reassured, I went with a spicy lamb vindaloo.

The spices were flavorful and the heat was spot on, but the meat wasn’t as tender as I expect at this price point. Not chewy, but not tender either. The rice also read a bit dry to me. I still finished the dish—along with the bread and rice—because I was hungry and the seasoning was satisfying.

A note to restaurants—Indian spots in particular: tender meat matters. Marination and slow cooking aren’t luxuries; they’re the difference between a good Indian meal bought from a supermarket’s frozen food shelves and a great one ordered at an Indian restaurant. If you are an Indian restaurant, serving freshly cooked dish and charging north of twenty dollars for a plate, the lamb, beef or goat meat should yield to the fork. Don’t you think so?

Great food and hospitality. Rich flavour and presentation. They draw high amount of takeout orders and as tourists we chose dine in and loved it. Every person cares and tries to give it their best to serve you. It was a pure delight for us and not too hard on the pocket after drinks too.

I was in town for a conference and stumbled upon this spot. I tried the chicken biryani, and it was absolutely delicious — full of bold, rich flavors. It was an interesting twist to include green peppers, which isn’t typical in traditional Indian biryani, but it added a nice touch to the overall flavor.

The chicken was tender, juicy, and packed with taste. I also really appreciated the thoughtful packaging and the fact that they included cutlery without me having to ask — a small detail, but one that many restaurants overlook.

This is one of the worst Indian restaurants I’ve ever eaten at and we travel around the country its never been this bad. The butter Chicken is bland. Hardly any flavor and no cilantro in the food. The naan is not tandoori naan it tastes like someone threw dough on a hot skillet and made it. Nothing traditional about this food. I guess you get what you pay for when its buy one get one free. Definitely will never order from here again. If I could give it -0 for stars I would. The people that say they enjoy this place have never had real Indian food.

One of the few restaurants opened at midnight. We ordered potato parantha and paneer parantha.paneer parantha was done very good with chillies and spices and properly done. But aloo parantha was not that great. Not done properly and just had salt. Scope is there tremendous to improve the basic parantha. Saw a couple enjoy tadka dal and paneer curry. May be next time. But full marks to the servers. They attended us very well with smiles even at 12:30 am. Btw they open at 2 am yes that’s right

I love Indian food and this place was excellent. I knew the minutes I walked in and my eyes started burning because of the spice in the air that it would be good. Great service. Lamb vindaloo was delicious. I had a couple of Taj Mahal beers, because of course I did. Garlic naan was good and garlicey.

I stopped in for a weekday lunch. The place was not crowded. I was greeted immediately and seated. They brought our papadums while I looked over the menu.

I ordered the chicken vindaloo medium slickness. The portion size was great, the flavor was bold and the spice was on the high end of the medium rating but I loved it. The chicken was tender, the rice was fragrant. This was exactly what I was hoping for.

I will certainly be back.
