My overall experience at Vino Italian Bistro was wonderful! From the moment I walked in, the hosts greeted me so kindly and even complimented me, which set such a positive tone. The atmosphere was beautiful and very soothing, creating the perfect dining vibe. Our food was absolutely delicious—every dish was full of flavor. While our waitress was a little slow to come over at first, it really wasn’t a big deal because everything else was so great. I’ll definitely be going back again!

Party of three, first visit. Two of the party had chicken piccata and loved it. I had the veal marsala. The veal was delicious. My only pick was the marsala gravy wasn’t as thick as I’m used to. The wine list is heavily Italian and has some great choices. We all loved the desserts. Staff was super friendly and our waitress/server was attentive. We will definitely return!

My wife and I visited the Sunday after Valentine’s, I would imagine it was busy and staff exhausted. Where to begin, to the owner Dustin Hughes please please please communicate and commend your team, being in the industry they were as we call it fully buttoned up. A huge well done Sir.
Christy Hewell you and the bar tender(acting manager, your guidance shows.
Now to food. Just WOW!!! Great job Chef.
We had a spectacular dinning experience. We did 3 or 4 of the appetizers all cooked to perfection, and your wine selection was a joy, pairing the Italian white with the oysters, clams, and asparagus, perfection. We went from a glass to a bottle so we could have it with our salad’s. Yummy. On to the entrees this will sound crazy but we were there to dine, the ability to order small plates made it an experience trying 6 different entrees. All off the veal menu again perfect, not one was off, they were all incredible. We finished with two desert’s and coffee cream brulee was done with exactly the right amount of toasting warm creamy and yummy, I highly recommend and appreciate the level your staff went to that made the night truly a wonderful experience.
Our server Loraiy Stevenson you made the night. Your attention to all details, not just ours but to everyone you were waiting on, what a fabulous job. Thank you for being our server.
Bottom line I will be recommending your place to all my customers, owning a wine bar on the Outer Banks I will know they will be well cared for. Again thank you all far making our day off a truly special night.

My partner has shellfish allergy, she ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with salmon and had a severe reaction! We always come here and that was the first time it happened! We had the bottle of Bigaro and I had the Wagu Bolognese. Our waitress Nora was great! We come here often so hopefully this allergic reaction won’t happen again

Sadly our experience was not very good. This was our first visit to the new location Maybe it was because it was a Sunday? We went out late afternoon. The Atmosphere and staff were wonderful but the meal was not very good.
The eggplant parmesean had no flavor, none! No tomato, no spices, no Italian 🙁 My husband had the lasagna which was also not very good. It was prepared in such a way I did not know what he had ordered!
We will try again but not on a Sunday.

Made reservations for Vino Friday night. Drove all the way from Hampton to enjoy date night with my favorite person. It was icy flurry on our way there. When we finally arrived, the atmosphere of the restaurant was very warm, inviting and we felt really good vibes. So far, so good. Our server Loralye greeted us with her very hospitable charm. She is exuded a very confident and seasoned personality though fairly young. We were impressed. Loralye asked what we would like for drinks informed us that if we had any questions that she would be more than happy to answer. We felt so comfortable and chill, that it did not feel like she was just taking our order but making us feel at home. My sweetie ordered a pizza for his appetizer and I was torn between the Wagyu Ravioli and Barrata. I asked Loralye about the Barrata and she stated that she was obsessed with the cheese and how it was made. At that point I was sols. I wanted both; whatever I don’t finish I would take home.Which is always am amazing situation. Our appetizers came out and we were very pleased with the presentation and deliciousness of all we had gotten as apps. Loralye came by and checked on us and asked how everything was so far and I thanked her for her recommendation. She then too our dinner order and my guy went with the salmon, mush risotto and asparagus tips. I went for the fillers, parm risotto and root veggies with a sidesalad. Food was awesome. As usual, I could not finish everything and was excited I had food to take home; especially delicious food!!! We asked for the dessert menu and Loralye was than excited to tell us about the variety. I went for the classic Tiramisu to take home and Loralye stated it was made fresh at the restaurant l, even better. We never felt rushed nor did Loralye present the check until we asked for it. What an experience!!! Staring with the atmosphere, the cleanliness, the warm reception, AMAZING FOOD, but it all boils down with our treatment. Loralye made our date night so awesome that I even told her that before we received our check that I would write a review and wanted her to know it would include her

We really like this place. The food has always been great and the service, especially our last visit, was spot on. From the wood fired pizza to the lasagna and chicken parm, you won’t find a bad dish. Come on out and give it a try. You won’t be disappointed!

The restaurant is in a fair location but parking is scarce, the hostess are polite and courteous, the all around atmosphere is decent its gives a warm and robust feeling.
The meals me and my wife had were decent but left for more to desire. The appetisers were awesome and priced fairly, I cannot lie I had some expectations with the main course and really looked forward to having something familiar in a sense to what I had experienced in Spain. Me and my wife had the same course, it was the Rossoto Con Scampi. The course was presented well and in more than a reasonable time. The meal in its entirely wasn’t at an adequate temperature for me or my wife, it was warm and decreasing in temperature. My wife wasn’t a fan of the shrimp in particular. The taste of the food was decent but the temperature and texture of the dish left more to be desired. Initially I wanted to try the Lasagna and my wife wanted to try some pasta but we allowed nostalgia to overcome us and we wanted something that tasted familiar . To be honest its not fair to compare the taste and preparation of 2 different meals but we have should of went with our first gut instinct.
I will give the restaurant another chance, the food we saw being served to other patrons did look appetising
I recommend this restaurant for casual dining, they also offer take out and have a open bar.
Enjoy the food and don’t be afraid to let the hostess know how the food taste. We didn’t tell them anything about the food being warm or if we wanted to return it (my wife wanted to return her plate but doesn’t like to be bother feeling like she is being complicated or picky) if the food had any egregious findings we would surely exclaim them to the waitress .
All and all its not bad we will try again with our first intentions with less expectations of course.

First time here since they moved locations. Before arriving we looked at lunch menu online and decided what we would order. When we were seated we asked for lunch menu and Tyler, the waiter sd there was no such thing. Very odd, since its posted online but we quickly moved on and ordered off the physical menu we were given. Food came and everyone enjoyed their meal. Tyler never asked if we wanted something other than the ice water to drink. After we finished eating, he never came back until I got up and got myself a to go box and asked for menu. He spent the majority of his time conversing with a patron at the bar. Which is fine but it seemed like we were not important. Tyler was very polite just not attentive. Which reflected in his tip. So btwn that and no lunch menu when there was one online, we were not impressed. Place needs to tighten up a bit.

Service was great. Although, the food did take quite a while to get to the table. I suppose it is because it’s a saturday. My fiance ordered the steak and it was disgusting. No kind of seasoning. I ordered the fettuccine shrimp alfredo and it was also seasoned terribly. The ravioli appetizer was good tho. If I came here again i would get pizza or something with marina.
