One of our favourite restaurants. Great food, service, atmosphere and ample and convenient parking. The vegan friendly teriyaki vegetable and tofu dish served on a hot stone with rice is delicious. Vegetables are always fresh and perfectly cooked to still be crisp.

Really enjoy this place and the variety of food.
The pork egg rolls are some of the best in the city and the sushi is always fresh.
I like the idea of the hot stone but find it really hot at first and stays really hot, almost to hot.
Review 6 years after my first review. We ordered on uber a few times over the past 6 months and both times we were very underwhelmed. Long wait and it not being fresh. We thought maybe it would be better if we went in, unfortunately it was not. We tried the all you can eat. The appetizers were not fresh at all, almost tasted double cooked which made the chicken very chewy. The rolls were ok, some fresh some dry. But mostly the different dances gave the flavour versus the rolls themselves. It’s really unfortunate since this used to be our go to, but the quality is just not what it used to be.

Had the all-you-can-eat dinner. It was good, not great. So many sushi rolls to choose from, but they’re so similar. Curry Chicken soup is so good. Noodle dishes with meat are ok, but you can tell the meat is added at the end, because the meat is bland and barely coated in sauce. Service was great.

5 Stars – Soul Stone is the AYCE sushi spot Orléans needed! The variety is unmatched!
I have to leave a review for Soul Stone Sushi Grill because we were blown away by their All-You-Can-Eat option, especially the sheer variety they offer.
This isn’t just a basic sushi spot; the menu is enormous, combining great Japanese staples with delicious Thai and Chinese dishes. We were able to order everything from fresh sashimi and unique specialty rolls to General Tso’s chicken and flavourful Pad Thai—all on the same ticket! It means everyone at our table, even the non-sushi fans, left totally happy.
The quality is top-notch for AYCE, the service is fast and friendly, and honestly, the incredible selection makes the price a total steal. This is officially our new favourite spot for a high-quality, high-value feast. Highly recommend!

This may very well be our next go to sushi place for all you can eat. While we only tried their sushi selection, I will definitely be back to try the other menu items. I love how they don’t skimp on the sauce that they put on the sushi rolls. Excellent flavour profiles. Restaurant is very clean, feels upper class in a good way. Great atmosphere and nice calming music. Both my wife and I felt like this would be a great place to sit with a group of friends to sit and chat and have great food. Didn’t feel busy or rushed like other sushi places. I’ve attached a picture of sheet we filled in with pictures of the sushi. For those who aren’t aware, you have three rounds. First round you mark down the items you want and they will bring all items to you at once. You won’t have to wonder if they forgot something as it seems to be a dedicated waiter/waitress. When you are close to finishing the first round, they bring the sheet back for you to fill out the second round. And same for the third round. If you want more, you can order directly from your waiter. Very easy to follow and worked great.

Update: the owner Sam was in touch with us and we will be giving them another try to make it better. We are fully satisfied with the owner’s reply and resolution.
Went with partner and we were very disappointed. Meals/plates are normally served steaming hot, tonight plates/meals were cold. The beef and chicken is always tender, the beef was chewy and the chicken was dry (coating was hard). This is why they get 1 star. The one star is for the good service. We were regular clients for years, after tonight we will not be going back ever.

The decor and atmosphere is super cozy and zen. Lots of spacious tables for big groups. The food comes out very nicely decorated! Lots of salmon on every salmon item dish. My favourite was the spicy salmon with avocado on pita on stone, I haven’t seen that anywhere else so it was very unique and tasted great! You have to give it a try! The food that requires the hot stone taste very good there but not sure if it will have the same effect if you order to go, so definitely save those dishes with hot stone ones for when you dine in!

This is the best sushi I tried in Ottawa. Friendly service and the nature/zen style of decoration adds to the experience. But what really amazed me was the freshness of the ingredients and quality of the food. It is way above sushi restaurants I tried in Ottawa. I went for lunch and the price was very good (16$). I will definitely go back soon, perhaps to try dinner.

We had an unfortunate lunch experience here, for the all you can eat. At first our service was efficient and our rounds came out very efficiently. When you do the lunch time ayce, you get three rounds.
After a large table arrived, the poor server was being run off of his feet. It ended up being over 45 minutes before we were able to ask about our order. At first we asked to simply had it made so we could leave, and he replied that we’d have to pay extra. We noted it had been 45 minutes since our last food had arrived, despite other tables receiving food.
We overheard another table express a similar complaint – their version was cancel what was in, we’re leaving.
Our three rolls came out and again, we had to ask for the rest of the order.
Very frustrating as this could’ve been prevented with proper staffing. Don’t know if we’ll come back after such a disappointing experience.

I have been to Soul Stone 3 times, and every time I visit I’m reminded why I keep coming back. The vibe is cozy casual. Food is fresh and almost everything tastes amazing. Service is good, and they have a great variety of Thai, Chinese, and Japanese dishes. Although I do wish they add Kani salad to their menu since every time they have it custom made for me.
My favorite dishes are the wakame salad, sunrise roll, and kiss roll.
Didn’t really like the ebi rice wraps (tasted bland to me) and the soul stone roll.
Everything else I tried was just perfect.
They offer all you can eat on specific days of the week. My only complaint is that their portions are way smaller than on regular days.
