Janet was amazing. Very patient while we looked and even offered desserts but we were so full I couldn’t even finish my grilled chicken. Sister says the chicken wonton tacos were absolutely amazing! Thanks Applebee’s for a good first time visit!

I mean I don’t know what I expected but it was not this. When we first arrived we were seated and greeted just fine. But as we waited for our food our drink ran dry with no attention, while we listened to other customers complain about waiting 45 for their meals. When our food arrived it was cold. We promptly informed our server and the manager came over to speak with us. It was one of the more awkward conversations I had in my life. When we informed him about the food being cold (one of our orders was the “sizzling cheeseburger”) he said that the cheese is not supposed to come hot and that it was “odd because I just made that.” He asked what he could do and it was so awkward I almost just agreed to eat my cold meal. I asked for another cocktail and then after taking a bite of very cold pasta I said I would like it remade. My husband’s meal came out with unmelted cheese again and then we saw and heard the same burger go by sizzling all the way. At the end we were charged full price for everything and ate parts of our meal while listening to our poor server make apology and apology for the management staff.

This Applebee’s is better than most. A little more relaxed and laid back, a great place for Fridays and Saturdays after work or just hanging out with family and friends. The food is good, the atmosphere is pretty ordinary but certainly not bad — comfortable but not fancy.

After last night I am never coming again. Each time it just gets worse. Get there takes about 35 minutes for 3 drinks. Few minutes our apps comes out. Trying to ask our waiter Caleb about the time it’s already been in hour of waiting and he only has visited us once. Never once I’d my friend who order a alcoholic beverage! Thank God she’s 22! I ask Caleb about the time on the wait he gets snippy automatically and responds well do you want to pay for your drinks and leave. Sure just wanted to know how much longer but sure. Left 0 top. Felt like we were just sitting in the back corner everyone was being checked on and I had to get up a few times just to get a drink of water or our drinks. Bad bad service 0/10 recommend
To applebees response: your url doesn’t work. Maybe take time to retrain their customer service. I deal with taking customers orders all over the US in a 3rd party and never would have acted like this. Its very disrespectful and we honestly felt it was a bit of a race thing as well since we were the only different colored ones inside there

I’m not going to lie, this is the worst Applebee’s I’ve been to ever.
Starting with the food:
The garlic mashed potatoes tasted like someone used a mortar and pestle to grind up the raw garlic and mixed it in. It was raw garlic taste.
The onion rings only tasted like grease and sandpaper.
My husband reported that the fish and chips were okay, but then he spent all night and the next day in the bathroom following the meal.
The appetizer – the spinach artichoke dip – was obviously sitting out for hours prior to serving and the chips were stale.
Service: while our waitress and the seater were kind, the food took an hour to come out when there were hardly any patrons. This was so frustrating, considering we had to change our order to-go because our baby was melting and we had to wait outside.
They also were out of several ingredients. That’s super frustrating. I’ve been a manager at a restaurant before, and I know when a restaurant is out of food it’s due to poor planning when assessing inventory and planning for the week.
Pricing: we paid $70 for 2 adults and 1 child. And it was terrible. I felt so floored and honestly scammed at this point.
All in all, it was terrible. I feel so foolish for expecting it to match the standards the Orem, Utah location has set, or even a Denny’s sets.

the food was very bland, we got sirloin steaks and they tasted more like hamburger. mine was cooked the same as my husbands but was tougher than his (medium rare). the food needed more salt and seasonings for sure. our waitress maddison did a great job and provided great customer service, the other staff we interacted with were great as well.
our booth seat was also awkwardly far back from the table and scooting it didn’t help lol, so that was uncomfortable. it didnt seem like the food wasn’t cooked well, but seemed the cooks were provided ingredients that could have been better for the price.

Arrived 8pm Thursday. Maybe five tables occupied. No hostess in sight. Bar tender sees us but proceeds to scan tv channels. No other employees in sight.
Finally a waitress appears out of kitchen, goes to deliver a customer’s drink, then ignores us and starts clearing a table.
Five minutes, no welcome, no nothing.
We left; had a good meal at Chiles.

This is a very weird Applebees / restaurant. The last time I was there during lunch hour, there were about a dozen + – tables with customers already eating / waiting for their food. The hostess told me they don’t have any tables for me. I looked at the hostess and she understood why (there were PLENTY of empty tables); she told me the kitchen staff told her to NOT accept any more customers.
That was during lunch hour!! And they are done accepting customers? That was 2 years ago, and while I still work nearby, I have not tried to eat here since. I guess it was one of those “special” experiences that I’d rather avoid; especially when there’s a ton of other restaurants nearby that offers almost similar foods. STRANGE to say the least.

The service was slow. There weren’t a lot of customers and the kitchen took a long time to serve cold food. Our server however was kind and pleasant to work with.
