The restaurant stays open until midnight, but be warned: they switch to a ‘late-night menu’ after 10 PM. This isn’t mentioned online, and most regular dishes are unavailable. We were very disappointed during our first visit, though the pizza was okay.
A few weeks later, I ordered the meatloaf for delivery ($20+ after tax). As you can see in the photos, the portion is shockingly small—it’s actually smaller than a one-dollar bill. The price-to-portion ratio is completely unreasonable. I definitely won’t be ordering this again.

It was our 1st time at Gentleman Jim’s. We were straving after an early, hours long swim meet and decided to try GJ because we were looking for resturants that serve brunch.
We LOVED it! From the friendly staff and excellent customer service to the fresh and delicious food we ordered. We were beyond thrilled and we can’t wait to go back.

What a fun and energetic environment! We have only been to this location one other time and enjoyed the food, but tonight we came for the pizza! We keep hearing about this incredible, legendary pizza so we had to check it out. The pizza did not disappoint, the crust is unique to Gentlemen Jim’s – the sauce is sweet, savory, and awesome. Even the cheese is unique in that they add Swiss cheese to the usual cheeses. I can’t tell you how good the maple ham and pineapple are – you just have to try it! And the people, they make it all the more enjoyable. Our waitress, Natalie, helped us decide on what would be our most satisfying choices and her recommendations were spot on. She remained attentive to us throughout the evening. I’d go back regularly just to try everything on the menu, enjoy the atmosphere, and have such great meal service!

We ordered carry out from here last night and it was hot and delicious. Unlike some of their competitors around (think other cafes) they’re not skimping on food quality or portions either. As mentioned other local establishments, continue to shrink the portion sizes, but not the prices. Gentleman Jim’s is the best! Also a great place to stop in and get a drink and their hospitality cannot be beat!

I’ve had Gentleman Jim’s pizza many times before but never actually sat down in the restaurant until tonight! Shay was our waitress and she awesome/so sweet! She recommended the fried pickles and they were heavenly. They have a great Happy Hour which we caught the tail end of. We got a California salad and a 12” pepperoni and meatball pizza. Everything was delicious and best of all, 8pm started a Live band and they were soo good! I will definitely be back for more in-person dining.

This place felt a little too country for me to return, but the Cavalier pizza was on point, so definitely more of a delivery spot for the future. Service averaged out to OK, starting gruff and then warming when they sensed I wasn’t really having it. In terms of atmosphere, there’s not much to the place. There are streams of decorative white (christmas tree style) lights on the ceilings and an otherwise very general middling restaurant decor.

Delicious burgers and fries! Great and fast service! Friendly employees! Nice decorations! Ate here December 16, 2023. Lots of tables and bar stools to sit at. We were seated immediately with no wait time.
Good selection on the menu. I was super happy to find out that the first burger on the menu is made exactly the way I like it, PLAIN! No cheese, no lettuce, no tomato, no mayo, no pickles, no onions… Just yummy delicious beef and super tasty brioche bun.. Thank you chef, I am very much appreciative of restaurants that offer a plain burger on the menu without needing to explain it to the waitress or waiter to remove a ton of things I don’t want. And then to taste this burger and experience such a great flavored burger! Definitely the best burger I have had in Maryland and very close to my favorite Red Robin burger (before Red Robin switched to the really bad buns. Red Robins current buns are terrible which knocks them way down my list of best burgers)
Also good drink selection.
Very clean. Great prices too! There is plenty of parking nearby and all free.
I hear they have good pizza here as well, so I will have to sample some next time.
