We got seated in less than 15 minutes, and or waitress was a but overwhelmed with the day, but she was friendly and professional, and no mistakes were made, our drinks were refilled, the food came out really quickly.
The food was absolutely delicious!
They brought out bread to start, was super soft and warm, really good.
We got an appetizer of broiled feta cheese and veggies, it was so amazingly tasty!!
And then I got the Captains Platter, mmm that Grouper!!
My wife got the Chicken Souvlaki Sandwich, was very delicious, everything tasted so good!
Kudos to the staff surviving a non-stop, all day long rush today. Thanks for fitting us in, and helping make our changed plans become a delicious experience.
I had the shrimp saganaki as a meal & there was so much shrimp I took leftovers home & had it over rice the next 2 days! My friends ordered large greek salads & they looked big enough to feed the entire table! I chose this place for friends who were visiting & everyone was very happy with their food.
The food was solid—tasty and well-prepared, which made me want to love the place. However, the service was truly appalling, even though the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy.
Throughout the meal, no one checked on us once. No “How’s everything?” or “Can I get you anything else?” We sat there for a full 20 minutes at one point, phones out, waiting for basic attention or refills that never came.
When it was time to leave, I had to flag someone down three separate times just to request the check—and even then, it took far too long to arrive.
Service like this leaves the impression that the staff simply doesn’t care whether customers feel welcome or want to return. It’s a shame, because with better attention to guests, this could be a spot worth revisiting.
Do better—your food deserves it.
We sat out on the patio, which had a charming European vibe. It was peaceful and cozy, like we were somewhere in a little village in Greece.
The service made the whole experience even better. The lady who waited on us was so warm and thoughtful—she had that kind of vibe like a mom or aunt making sure you’re taken care of. She even made sure we got the soups that came with our entrées to go, even though we originally said no because we were already kinda full from the appetizers. That little extra care really stood out.
Also they have their own parking lot right next to the building. That area of Tarpon Springs can get super crowded, so it’s great not having to drive in circles looking for a spot.
