Went this weekend and we were very disappointed with the sushi. We ordered unagi and the rice was hard and the eel was cold. Also, I ordered others and the rice to fish ratio was ridiculous. I wanted sushi and not rice!

It really is a hit or miss to eat at Kyoto. Eagan location I think is better.

Service was solid though but the restaurant was pretty empty.

Hopefully they improve the rice to fish ratio and make sure the rice isn’t hard.

The sushi here is good and the AYCE is standard price. I enjoyed the salmon, tuna, and yellowtail that I had. The service and ambience was slow and my order was mistaken a few times throughout the process overall, I would recommend this spot, especially if you’re going with friends and don’t mind waiting a little while in between rounds of sushi.

2-25-24 my wife and I tried this place because we were craving for sushi. Parking isn’t the greatest. Overall it was okay. I think the sushi didn’t taste fresh. I eel sushi tasted okay. The mackerel didn’t taste salty and texture tasted different. The salmon teriyaki was thinly cooked, not like the photo in the menu where it look thick and juicy. The best food was the chicken wings, nice and crispy. Waitress was really nice and atmosphere was cool. It was okay.

This was my husband and l favorite place for sushi for years but lately we’ve been getting really bad service yesterday we went to eat there for Valentines. They only had one server and the cookers. We’re not doing there job right the food was coming out really cold without flavor and the sushi I was really disappointed. Sorry, but not returning no more to this place. Looking for a better place with a better service and better food.

I have to come back here. The sushi was delicious and my only regret is not having more room in my belly to order more things to try from the menu. I have such a curiosity but can I only eat so much as one person. I wish I had more availability to go for lunch prices but I knew what I was getting into for dinner and still found it very worthwhile. The service was amazing, chef’s put together the sushi quickly, and seating was nearly immediate after entry.

Pros:
-Definitely worth $25 per person for weekend lunch, I’d recommend ordering as much as you can when you can.
-Maki rolls are delicious, I was full and satisfied
– VARIETY!
Cons:
– Wish I had a bigger stomach to eat more

DO NOT eat at this place unless you want to be sent to the hospital. My friend, whose favorite food is sushi and enjoys it all the time, got severe scromboid poisoning and had horrible anaphylactic shock that resulted in a hefty ER bill. The only way to get the poisoning is from old fish that has begun to breakdown protein and form histamine, the activator for allergic reactions within any person. She tried reaching out multiple times to the owner, who feined concern over her situation – offered to pay her bill post-insurance, and then continuously dropped her calls and ghosted her when my friend did not hear any news back. this is a ridiculous spot that hurts their customers and clearly does not care about the consequences. save your time and your health before this place literally kills someone.

Great all-you-can-eat menu, reasonable wait-time inbetween ordering your choices, reasonably priced as well.

Significant other and I love coming here.

I’ve never had this happen but if you do order excess food that isn’t eaten, they may add an additional fee.

The service was poor, not only was she unfriendly but she ignored us multiple times and would not even set our dishes in front of us. The rolls with cooked fish were okay but the raw fish was slimy and discolored. The terayaki chicken and chicken fried rice were underwhelming. There is not a changing table in the restroom. The dining room is cold. We will not be eating here again.
