If you are looking for exceptional italian food that will please all ages as well as delight even the pickest palate; this is the place for you. Have ordered the daily “special” twice now as well as had food from the menu. We were very very pleased. The portions are large. The servers are so nice, friendly and efficient. Oh, and the cheesecake was freshly made and fabulous. Try it and see if you don’t agree!

I had such a great experience thanks to our waitress, Cameron. From the moment we sat down, she was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. She checked on us at the perfect times, made great recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal.

Her positive attitude and professionalism really stood out — it’s rare to find someone who takes such pride in making guests feel taken care of. Cameron made our visit truly enjoyable, and we left feeling happy and well-looked-after.

The food was great. We really enjoyed the margarita pizza and topped it off with balsamic graze.

If you’re dining here, definitely ask for Cameron. She’s amazing!

I wouldn’t call it “classic Italian” but it wasn’t too bad. The service is really great! Prices somewhat reasonable.
I began with the pasta e fagioli soup. At least, that’s what I wanted, but the should rename it to “white bean soup” because that’s what it was! No real “broth” and no veggies whatsoever, just a cup, or bowl of white beans, with some tiny pasta bits! It was good, but they should change the name, or make it as it should be!
For my main entre, the veal piccata was very good, but way too much of the white wine sauce on that rather large plate they serve it on! Cooked perfectly, nonetheless!
The carbonara was excellent!
As for the garlic bread…so sad! Nothing much to it at all, much less garlic! Would I dine here again? Probably not!

The service was great. We made a reservation since we had a large party (9) and it was Christmas Eve. We had 2 kids and 7 adults (technically 4 kids but two teenage boys eat like adults). Everyone got the same menu so I guess they didn’t have menus for the kids to color. Our kids were all hungry so they were not as worried about coloring as they normally are. They were more excited about the garlic knots and pasta they were going to get.

We got some bread but everyone had already eaten garlic knots and fried zucchini.

I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo and the gnocchi for myself and my girls to split. We really liked the gnocchi and the Alfredo sauce but the red sauce was not very flavorful. It tasted like tomato paste more than tomato sauce. We had to mix it with the Alfredo to enjoy it.

Everyone else thought their food was delicious so overall I would give it 4 stars but if you get the gnocchi or other pasta with red sauce, just go ahead and substitute Alfredo. It was the best sauce and it is made in house and delicious. I think if we had done that (I almost did but it was my first time there so I wanted to try the red sauce too) it would have been five stars for sure.

Came in for a girls lunch. We got Eggplant Parmeggiana with Penne. The sauce was fresh and flavorful but the Eggplant had been left in the oven a little too long and was difficult to cut and the Breadsticks were a little tough. The Raspberry Dessert was luscious! Mia our server did a really good job!

We visited Il Forno with some friends for a New Year’s Eve dinner and what a great experience. A few weeks prior we made reservations for eight with Cameron over the phone. She was incredibly helpful and very patient.

When we got the restaurant our table was ready and we didn’t have to wait a minute. Our server, Sabrina, was super sweet! She knew the menu very well and was able to make recommendations. She went above and beyond to make sure our kids had everything they needed, giving us an opportunity to enjoy some adult company.

I would definitely recommend grabbing a bite here. The food is delicious and the service is great.

We went on a busy Friday night. It did seem like a normal wait time to be seat, to us. Our service was great. Our food was as expected. We did have to wait a while for our food. The bathroom was small , different & need of repairs. We will go back to try more of the menu. We had Zitti , Shrimp Alfredo & the Ricotta balls.

Friendly staff and a very nice meal. Ordered a bottle of Chianti. They put their own twist to Mozzarella. Two slices of Italian bread with mozz. between and on top, sprinkled with Parmesan cheese and served with marinara. It was good. My Shrimp Fra Diablo had 6 shrimp and was spiced perfectly. My wife enjoyed her Tortillini Bolegnoise special. Not rushed, but was not neglected or overlooked. We will go there again.

Okay, listen up, Lakeland food warriors: I ordered the Penne alla Vodka and it basically changed my life… or at least my dinner plans for the next month. This sauce? Creamy, pink, vodka-kissed perfection with chunks of prosciutto and onions that were like little flavor bombs going off in my mouth. I swear the pasta was al dente so perfect it could probably run a half-marathon without breaking a sweat.
Portion size? Let’s just say I took home leftovers and then ate them for breakfast. Don’t judge—vodka sauce at 9 AM is a vibe. The staff was so friendly I almost asked if they deliver hugs too. If you’re in Auburndale (or anywhere near enough to smell the garlic), stop whatever boring thing you’re doing and get here. This place is proof that carbs + cream + a sneaky shot of vodka = happiness. 10/10, would fight a seagull for the last bite. Will be back before my jeans forgive me.
Highly recommend—unless you’re on a no-fun diet, in which case… sorry, not sorry.
