We went to Uncle Tony’s very early, around 4:15pm and were seated very quickly. This was our first time at Uncle Tony’s. The dining rooms were nice and quiet, clean and neat. The menu has a wide variety and prices are reasonable. There are plenty of Italian favorites: we ordered Uncle Tony’s special which was Pasta with sauce featuring tiny shrimp and clams- delicious! We also ordered their Lasagna and it was the best we’ve ever had in Rhode Island (no kidding!). Their red sauce is so tasty! Not too sharp, and the lasagna filling is a nice mixture of beef with Italian sausage. Our server was excellent and very attentive without too much interaction. Whenever we are around route 44 (Johnston) at dinnertime – we will stop again! By the way, we recommend getting to Uncle Tony’s early because they are really a popular place!

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!
Where do I start? The booths they sat us at had crumbs on both sides of the seat. Everything is normal as far as waiting for server to come, we order, food comes out after not to long. Ordered the Uncle Tony’s special dish. The food comes and it’s 95% grocery store isle mid spaghetti with a few of the tiniest shrimps I have ever seen and a few other scallops in white sauce. The food was hot which nice but the food has got to be the worst noodle/seafood I have had in half a decade. The food was so bland you literally would not believe a restaurant would be serving this. When I say the food had no flavor I’m not exaggerating. The fork also had a nasty stain on it as well. It only took the server 10 minutes to swing by the table to get clean silverware after getting served on a Tuesday @ 6 p.m. with maybe 3 people in the section. I maybe could finish 5 bites without being totally turned off from the entire experience. The spaghetti was the exact consistency and flavor (probably worse) than a literal can of chicken noodle soup with the seafood not being up much higher. There were plenty of other things to add but we will stick to the food because it’s inexcusable. For $55 ($65 w/ tip bc ppl are trying to make a living) for two horrible pasta dishes and an alcoholic beverage is a great way to ruin a night. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF EVER VISITING HERE.

Very yummy .Try the Jalapeno Bacon pizza and don’t skip the desert….fried Oreo ice cream sandwich so good. Also ask for Nicole best service. Definitely will be back!!

Uncle Tony’s was the location of my son’s sixth birthday. It was beyond wonderful!! The room was perfect, the food delicious and the staff was AMAZING!!! We can’t say enough good things about it. Highly recommend!

As a 56 yr old Italian American whose grandparents were from Abruzzi Italy I know good sauce. Tony’s Pizza is not only consistent every time the sauce is fantastic. I can’t seem to stop myself from ordering a small cheese pizza every week for the last several months. I strongly suggest a simple cheese pizza and then you will know.

Our pizza was served with anchovy paste.. we couldn’t believe we were tasting “fish” in our pizza. Our waitress was dumb struck as was the bartender. No explanation why it was added. I am not sure if the cook saw me and thought I was some person they were fighting with or thought I did something to them but we were certainly puzzled. The staff was apologizing and offered us a pizza to take home but after that, I thought, no because I can’t imagine what would have been added to that. I would get a pizza to go at some point but there’s plenty of other places that are good. They took the pizza off of the bill. Which we appreciated. But sometimes you just get a very uneasy vibe. That was the place I had a very uncomfortable vibe from.

VERY disappointed. Got through my whole calzone only to find a long hair stuck to the wax paper directly under the calzone… Really?!?! Considering I don’t have long hair….gross.
