My family and I just had dinner there, and the restaurant was in complete shambles. Multiple tables were waited but never served. It took forever for everyone to receive their food. Meanwhile, the manager and assistant manger sat around and watched! They blamed the wait staff for the food delays, instead of the kitchen. Instead of management going into the kitchen to find out the issue, and get things situated, they did nothing! The manger fussed and cussed at my server. He sat on the phone, typing on his laptop at a nearby booth. The assistant manager just walked around the restaurant and sat down hanging out with the manager. They was a young lady walking around doing nothing, and another that was hanging in the kitchen. Last night only 2 servers were actually trying to service multiple tables at the same time. Besides the chaos, the choice of music playing was completely inappropriate for a family restaurant.

Denzel made up for the Valentine’s day Stunt his staff pulled completely! He gave a $60 gift card which was over what i spent. And once the food came out it was amazing. Valentine’s day was bad but he made up for it tremendously would recommend this place to everyone.

I gave them a 5 eventhough they only had one server and she was awesome! Personnal but very professional at the same time! I think her name was Ava? Hostess did a great job letting everyone know what was happening and apologizing. The bartender was great as well.

Unfortunately, we were left with limited choices of places to eat in Orangeburg, SC.
We chose Applebee’s in a last resort for mothers day, and it was the disappointment we hoped it wouldn’t be.
There was no ‘welcome’ from the server, the food was no where near presentation (except the chicken wontons), the meals were not served hot or with utensils to eat it. We never got our meals corrected once given notice of issues.
Notice there’s no ice cream on the cold served apple crisp, almost raw (not cooked peppers), and the unseasoned chicken meal.

Got there around 3pm Saturday December 27,2025 and it wasn’t busy. We waited 10 mins for a table, 15 mins for a server which also happened to be the bartender. The waitress came took our order, it took 15 mins to get our drinks and 30 mins to get our food. My steak wasn’t done and my potatoes were cold. My boyfriend’s food was cold also! The worst Applebees I’ve ever been to! Just letting people know the Hospitality manager Hugo called me and I told him in detail what happened at this visit and he apologized profusely and gave me a certificate to give them another try! He was a really great manager!

I had the blackened salmon with loaded mashed potatoes. The food itself was just okay, but the service was terrible. Our waitress couldn’t remember anything we said and kept coming back asking the same questions repeatedly. I also ordered the Pink Punch, and it tasted exactly like lemonade — I’m not even sure it had any alcohol in it.
The bartender wasn’t any better; she seemed more focused on entertaining the men at the bar than actually making drinks. We didn’t receive our drinks until our food came out, even though we ordered them with our appetizer. The restaurant wasn’t even busy — maybe ten people total — so there was really no excuse.
Overall, it was not a great experience. I definitely expected better.

As soon as you walk in, it’s pretty dead, which should be a dead giveaway to not to eat there. Ordered boneless wings for an appetizer and when into one it was completely raw. Ordered the bourbon street chicken the plate was hot, but the chicken was cold. We should’ve never had to pay for that food. If I could give zero stars for the food and the atmosphere, it would be zero our waitress was pretty nice though.

We stopped in to eat on our way back to Michigan from Florida. Took over an hour to get 2 burgers and a fajita roll up. This was the dirtiest restaurant I have ever eaten in. Filth all over the walls. The bathrooms were disgusting. Clogged sink with 6 inches of sitting water. I do not typically write bad reviews, but this restaurant was so gross. Our waitress was nice and attentive though.

Deserves to be shut down. I placed a pickup order at 4:45, was told it would be ready at 5:07. I go to pickup my order, have everything rang up, just to be told that there are no chicken tenders (I ordered two chicken tenders kids meals) and that I couldn’t receive a credit because “we can’t do that.” I then ended up waiting an additional 30 minutes for the food to be ready, just to receive the wrong sides for the food and have to go back in and wait AGAIN. absolutely ridiculous. Applebees you have dropped the ball tremendously. I paid $70 for food that I didn’t even receive.

I would give no stars if possible. We called ahead was told no wait, them waited for 45 mins. App had wrong wings, tea was old and sour. App and salad took 20 mins then hubbys steak came out 15 mins before mine, I was pissed, they said they lost my order. I walked out and had hubby box it but it still took 10 mins to get . Shitty all around, will not ever go back
