I am so upset! Bit into my fried calamari and got a mouth full of foil! Multiple pieces have foil fried into the batter. I’m a regular customer and have never had this happened. Went to celebrate my son’s birthday and I wish we would have chose Yamato!

The food was okay. The rolls were good. The seafood combo was oversalted. The buffalo wings were the tiniest I have ever seen. I had gone before, and the hibachi was about a four-star experience, but the sushi rolls could have been much better this time. We got about seven rolls. The price was not bad; had it been worse, the rating would be closer to a 3. Some improvements could be made in the kitchen, but the waitress did a great job.

First time trying a new place and it was awesome, we had hibachi? Where they cook in frount of you and the chef was talented,funny, and excellent at his craft! The food was delicious and atmosphere was cool once we figured out the menu and had a couple drinks!

Pretty good food. Hibachi experience wasnt the best I’ve seen. But overall the chef was fun to watch. Will go back again. If I’m ever in town again. Also they are pour the drinks a little heavy so be careful with that.

The a hibachi was pretty good. The yakisoba could use some work. The hibachi cook did a pretty good job of entertaining the children. All in all, not bad for the price. I would recommend if you’re stuck in Victoria for some reason.

They have hibachi here, which is excellent!
Service is fast and they are polite.
If you are dining hibachi, it will be a bit more expensive for the performance and higher quality of cooking. (Tips make it more expensive of course)
Also as a note their portion sizes seem to have increased since after Covid.
You can get miso soup or onion soup with hibachi; both are tasty however the miso doesn’t have tofu blocks.
If you have appetizers or sushi or side of fried rice, you can dine here cheaper. Sometimes I get side orders of fried rice or edamame.
Anyway, great food and atmosphere right next to Texas Roadhouse!

Tokyo has become one of our favorite places to eat but we only go to Robin/Matthew on the Hibachi. His food is always top notch and cooked to perfection. Overall the restaurant is clean, sushi is great (and comes out pretty quick) and they have a gold mine with Robin. You can really tell he loves cooking and puts his heart into his food. Trust me, ask for Robin/Matthew on Hibachi and you will have a fantastic meal!
