Very good vegetarian restaurant with temple vibes all over.

We walked in to listen to wonderful Om playing throughout the restaurant and had it that way thru out entire meal. What a real vibe indeed.

The menu is long and filled with variety of foods, including a Chinese section. Interesting menu.

Food is awesome, to simply put. All dishes we tried are very well made and exceeding our expectations of taste. While the quantities are on the side of small, the tastes are sure to fulfill.

The service and ambience of the place are excellent and we are sure to revisit again over and over.

The food was really amazing and perfect for all the veg lovers out there. It had such a comforting and homely feel, which made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. The ambience is something that truly makes a big difference — calm, welcoming, and very pleasant to sit and enjoy a good meal.

I tried the Aalyam Veg Thali along with their Filter Coffee, and both were absolutely delightful. The thali was wholesome, flavorful, and well worth the price, while the filter coffee was rich and refreshing, making it the perfect way to end the meal. Definitely worth the price and a great place for anyone who enjoys authentic vegetarian food.

So happy to find a restaurant with so many Jain options! The menu is a really good size, which is rare when you’re looking for Jain food

We ordered the vegetable corn soup and soya curry, and both were good. The kulcha were especially nice. The jalpeno tofu was OK, it tasted like it was too sour like there was chaat masala

The energy and vibe of the place are really pleasant, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a great spot if you’re looking for tasty Jain-friendly optio

We walked in at around 4pm. The lunch Thali ends at 3pm but staff was kind enough to offer lunch thali. Service was quick and fast. Very friendly as well. They are usually busy during lunch and dinner hours. This a vegetarian restaurant and all the food we tasted was very good. Spice level was perfect as well.
Very beautiful decor and relaxing music.

Overall A+. We came during off peak hours so felt like staff was only serving us 🙂
We will make another visit during peak hours and report back on crowd management, service, food quality etc.

We were seated right away and the service was quick. It is a vegetarian-only restaurant with a very large menu, which gives plenty of options to choose from.

Unfortunately, the lachha paratha was disappointing. It was served with dal that tasted stale and seemed to have gone bad. When we pointed it out, the waiter simply asked if we wanted a replacement, but there was no apology and no manager came to address the issue, which was frustrating.

On a positive note, the paneer dish was excellent and definitely the highlight of the meal. Everything else we tried was fairly average.

I visited Athidhi Aalayam today, and I have to say — the food is amazing. The Thali tasted really good, and the overall vibe, location, and parking are excellent. When you enter, the God picture and the peaceful atmosphere make the place feel very welcoming.

But I want to share one small suggestion. When I arrived, the entire restaurant was empty, but the tables and chairs were not clean. I even checked three different tables, and all looked the same. There was no crowd and staff were free, so I’m not sure why the cleaning was missed.

This is not a negative comment — just honest feedback. Food quality is excellent, but maintenance and hygiene need a little more attention. Even small details like wiping tables and chairs make a big difference for customers.

Overall, for taste and good Indian Thali, this is a great place. I genuinely prefer it for the food. Just hoping they improve the cleanliness part.

Went to Athidhi Aalayam in Frisco and honestly, I feel like the place is a bit overhyped for how much they charge. The taste was okay and on point, but it wasn’t that great to justify the prices definitely not mind-blowing.

I did notice they have a pretty big vegetarian menu, with things like dosas, South Indian thali, and bhel puri that a lot of people tend to recommend and enjoy.

The ambience is nice and service was decent, and some items like their naan and filter coffee were solid. But overall, for what you’re paying, it didn’t quite live up to the hype for me. I’d go back again and try more, but I wasn’t blown away this visit.

A.A delivers an authentic south Indian dinning expereince with a calm, well designed aesthetic that feels warm and inviting.
The Tati bellam Coffee stands out as a must try, offering a rich, traditional flavor thats hard to find. The rasam rice combo is comforting and soulful, while the crispy corn and pachi mirchi paneer add a perfect balance of crunch and spice.
Food quality and presentation are consistent and satisfying overall.
The only downside is limited waiting chairs, which can be a bit disappointing during peak hours.

The benne masala dosa was really good—crispy, flavorful, and nicely spicy, just the way it should be. Unfortunately, the Mysore bonda didn’t meet expectations. It was oversized, a bit heavy, and lacked flavor, making it something I wouldn’t order again. The phool makana curry was decent and mildly flavorful, pairing reasonably well with the meal. The tandoori breads stood out for being soft, fluffy, and fresh, which was a pleasant surprise. To end the meal, the filter coffee was excellent—strong, aromatic, and very satisfying.

We visited Athidhi Aalayam again because we truly loved the food during our last visit, and our expectations were high this time. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed.

We ordered two thalis, but the taste of the vegetable curries was not up to the mark. The curries were very salty and watery, and it felt like almost all the items were made using the same base (dal), which made them taste very similar.

It feels disappointing because our first experience was excellent—we had even given a 5-star review earlier. This visit was completely the opposite. We hope the restaurant maintains the same taste and quality that initially impressed us and improves consistency going forward.
