Stopped in this afternoon for hot dogs and fries. So glad I did. It was great and didnt take long to come out. Friendly faces in here and fair prices. Love the frosty mugs for the soda. Thanks Stewarts

The food was great, as was the service! The atmosphere was incredible! The 50’s motif is perfect. From actual car hops to amazing decor. Oldies playing from the speakers bring back such great memories. The restaurant that time forgot!

I love this place. I live in north Jersey, but we make sure to go here every time we’re in south Jersey. I think it is the only Stewart’s left. The food is always good, and the atmosphere is amazing. So happy that it still exists, I hope it’s here forever.

I have been ordering the same thing from Stewart’s, any Stewart’s, since I was a boy and my dad and I would stop at the one that ain’t there anymore in Toms River just before the Seaside Heights Bridge. He turned me onto getting one or two dogs with fixins’, onion rings, and a cold root beer. There ain’t anything better than that on a warm, sunny day in New Jersey. And being with my dad. Thanks for the excellent food, service, atmosphere, and memories, Tuckerton Stewart’s Crew.

Literally the only people in here with my kids and every single server is too busy talking and laughing with each other I had to scream across the store and wave my hand just to get someone’s attention to order my food. Waiter also didn’t seem to please with me cause I took her away from there conversation to order. Food is alright.

Had a yummy lobster roll, was very good and my husband liked his diet root beer. Cute place on the water. Boats can pull up and eat at picnic tables below. The whole place has a fifties vibe.

Great Stewart’s location. The staff is very friendly and service is quick. Tables are cleaned well inside and out.

They have outdoor seating near the water with nice views of the canal. Parking can be difficult as it’s a small lot with limited spaces. They have an ice cream bar inside alongside their standard menu.

The food was good and cheap. The atmosphere is great, sitting by the water. I really didn’t like that I had to give the waitress my credit card to hold after ordering my meal, only to get it back at the end of my meal….I have never seen this type of behavior anywhere. She had my credit card for a solid 40 min and who knows what she could have done with it. When she finally came back with my card and the bill, I ask for a refill on my drink, and she asked for my card again. I just told her to forget it……

While returning from our trip to Cape May, decided to stay off of the Garden State Parkway and cruise easily along US Route #9.

There were 2 sections where we had to jump back into the GSP to avoid becoming a boat or submarine.

The Destination was Shooter’s Gun Range and Sport Center on Rt #539 in Little Egg Harbor.

We past a Stewart’s Root Beer Restaurant set along the water on the Northbound side of US Route #9, we continued on to our destination to find them closed.

Kit Dwight and I decided to turn around, since they were only 7 minutes apart.

The reason for me was the roadside sign advertising their Lobster Roll and Kit was in the mood now for ice cold Root Beer, Hotdog and Onion Rings.

In addition to the Lobster Roll, French Fries, Coleslaw, I added an extra Coleslaw and Jalapeno Popper’s.

To finish off the delicious dinner, we both ordered Ice Cream to finish the meal.
