TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I visited Dave’s Hot Chicken and overall it was a decent experience. The loaded fries I ordered had mostly fries and only 3 or 4 small pieces of chicken, while the mac and cheese was very good. I tried the “Hot” level spice, which had a nice kick—enough to enjoy the heat without being overwhelming.
The food took about 15–20 minutes to be served, which was truly unreasonable since it wasn’t busy. A nice bonus: if you leave a review on their website, they sponsor a milkshake, which is a fun perk. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere is casual and lively.

I’ve been here 3 times, food was hot and fresh. The chicken on it’s own is WAY too over seasoned for my liking, but somehow tases phenomenal in all together in the sandwich with honey. I got mild because I don’t like a lot of spice, but next time I’ll go to medium, I didn’t taste any heat at all. Such a guilty meal for me, but I love it! The girl at the front has been the same the 3x I went and she’s super sweet

I am delighted to share my fondness for Dave’s Hot Chicken, and I am pleased to have discovered this particular location. I am especially pleased that it offers Halal. It is wonderful to find Halal Dave’s Hot Chicken here in Florida. The employees are exceptionally kind and helpful. They extend a warm welcome to all guests. The seating area is well-maintained and not overly crowded. I also appreciate the interior design. I ordered mild sliders for my children and an extra hot slider for myself, and everything was truly delicious.

Tried them in Orlando and food was mid. BUT Allie at the pbl location told me you have to at minimum order the mild spice to have any flavor and she was right. Food was fresh, fruit punch slushie, pickles on the side, perfect fries 10 across the board

Second times a charm related to Food. Chicken was perfect, succulent, juicy freshly cooked. The seasoning on the chicken and the fires were maxed out. Fries were crispy. The quality of the pickels stood out also great to reset your taste to go back in.
Cons: it did take an extended time to get my food. It is super cold inside.

Decent place for some chicken. I had never been to a Dave’s but it didn’t disappoint. What I enjoyed about the rest was the service. The cashier was very kind and attentive. I would come back for sure!

Ordered 2 tenders mild with fries and dipping sauce plus large sprite. Despite the seasonings on fries it still tasted bland. Chicken tenders mild despite the seasonings tasted bland and that dipping sauce tasted like bland thousand Island dressing. Sprite was cold and bland. Inside restaurant is hot while it’s hot outside. The atmosphere was welcoming from the moment I walked in.
They greet you right away, there is upbeat music playing throughout the restaurant, I noticed it was very clean, tables were all clean and chairs were all pushed in. There was no dropped trash anywhere, no spills around the drink area, even the doors didn’t have fingerprints on them!
The cashier, Taylor, was informative, kind, and kept a big smile on her face the whole time! She explained everything in detail on how to order correctly! The woman that bagged up my food was also very sweet and welcoming! (I didn’t catch her name)
The front of house crew has an amazing attitude and great work ethic! The food was amazing & exactly as I ordered. This was my first time here & I’ll definitely be coming back. This is absolutely a place I will recommend to others as well!

This place is bangin’! Skip the big fast food chains and come here to Dave’s Hot Chicken! It’s seriously good. I got the two sliders in medium spice level which made my mouth water with flavor. The spice for medium really was just good flavor and not hot at all I recommend it if you’re wondering which to go for. The chicken is juicy fresh and delicious! A nice crunch and a soft bread roll with yummy pickles and a home made kale slaw to elevate the texture and flavor in each bite. They’re so good I had to come back with my girl because they have veggie chicken sandwiches! Score! Plus everyone here is so friendly you will have a very pleasant experience here.

Dave’s Hot Chicken for the win yet again! I have yet to be unhappy with a Dave’s and so glad I finally came to this location! The staff was so friendly and the location was extremely clean and kept. The food came out super quick and hot which was great! The flavor of the medium was on point and just the right amount of seasoning on it! I will definitely keep coming to the locations and continue to go to new ones to try them all! Thank you!!
