The Waiting Room does a lot of good things, it’s in a great location in downtown Rahway. It’s big inside that can accommodate large crowds. It can be fun for the late night crowd too, but bar service is a little slow past 10pm. The food is excellent and they can do a lot of drinks at the bar. Definitely check them out.

I had a pretty good dining experience. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked — tender, juicy, and beautifully seasoned. Each bite was rich and flavorful. Can really taste the quality of the meat and the care put into the preparation. French onion soup was a bit too salty for me but the cheese was gooey and indulgent.

We have eaten here many times before going to PWS wrestling shows at the Rahway rec center.
The place is big, open and nicely decorated and the staff is friendly and accommodating.
The food is always on point and the drinks are cold and delicious.

A traditional example of a Neighborhood Bar. Drinks and Food at a reasonable price, TVs with different games in the background, loud atmosphere with everyone talking, and Staff pretty much busy throughout the evening.
Not my cup of tea but that is just a personal choice, and there is nothing bad to say about this place. Everything we ordered tasted pretty good, and the Cocktails were very strong.

Located on East Cherry Street in Rahway, New Jersey, the Waiting Room is a friendly bar with reasonably good sandwiches and burgers. Sports is usually on, the hours are good: 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. Excellent service and old school atmosphere.

This was a fun little experience. The staff was quick and friendly. There is a little library up front. Our drinks stayed topped off and the food was pretty decent. I thought the sandwiches were a little better seasoned than their burgers. This is a good place to come watch the game with the boys(or girls) because when the game is on, it is sooo loud. It feels like you are in the stands with the cheering fans, it is deafening. I wouldn’t come here for a conversation. As it will be to difficult to talk over the volume of whatever is playing on the screens.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. Went today prior to a work meeting not expecting much but really loved the steak sandwich.
My friends also loved the Nashville chicken sandwich.
