Southern Rock music playing in the background, and a college basketball game on the TV. There was a dog in a truck in the parking lot… waiting for his doggy bag. Service was professional and friendly.

Food was great, staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. The different sauces were awesome and the #3 was on point, great flavor with a little kick. Baked beans were really flavorful, the cheese corn was pretty interesting in a good way. The Pork Loin was my favorite and I’ll definitely get it again when we come through this area. Highly recommend!

This place was great from the second we walked through the door! The lady greeted us, was super nice, wasn’t rude when we took extra time figuring out the sides we wanted. 10 outta 10 customer service! Now the best part, the food was AMAZING!! We got our food to go because we were short on time but I got out to the car and the food smelled so good that I had to try it right then and take pictures! . It did not disappoint at all!! I tried a piece of the half slab of ribs and told my son, let’s go back inside and tell the lady how great the food is! We did just that! The catfish was so good, the fries were great, the sauce had the right amount of sweetness and spice. Everything was great!! I would drive from Kansas City to Springfield just to come back here! I cannot explain how great the food was! We will definitely be back!!

This place is amazing and reasonably priced! We came on a Saturday for lunch. The lovely lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. We had the lunch specials. One pulled pork sandwich, fried okra and potatoe salad. Pulled chicken sandwich, home fries and cheesy corn. Very flavorful and juicy! When we are back in Springfield, we will come back!

Glad next door restaurant closed early so I got to enjoy a jumbo pulled pork sandwich with a side of beans here. Liked the 6 BBQ sauces to choose from and some nice southern music playing in the background as well. Nice kady took my order up front and had the big sandwich to the table in a minute. They were slow, but still.

This was the most disappointing dinner I’ve had this year. Let’s start with the two sides. The only enjoyable part of the meal was the smoked green beans. Minus the establishment putting pulled pork into every side including the green beans, it had good flavor. The cheesy corn tasted like velveeta meets cream style corn. It was not the least bit fresh either.
I ordered burnt ends. What I received would be equated to dried, bland stew meat. Tasted like someone just took the left overs off stew meat and put it in the oven to burn the top of it. I could only stomach two small bites of it.

I had the Brisket dinner platter with two sides. The fried okra was excellent. I am kind of a snob when it comes to my coleslaw, and this slaw was excellent as well. Nice and creamy, and not too sweet. The brisket, it was okay. It didn’t really seem to be smoked, more like crock pot cooked. The six sauces that are available at the table were all amazing. They had a good variety of different BBQ style sauces to choose from. Service was great and prices were reasonable.

Went in to restaurant during a non-busy time. Things were promising when I found out they were already out of Ribs at 6:00pm. Staff was very friendly. As you arrive you walk in and read the large menu on the wall. You place your order, and find your table while the food gets ready prepped.
They have tea and a fountain drink station.
When the food arrives my hopes of a great meal were crushed when I saw what looked like microwaved brisket on my plate.
They have several selections of sauces to choose from. Not to many complaints from that end.
Over all I would rate this place 3.8. The smell of smoked food was better than the food.
