Update 2/18/26:
Ordered a meal from the gluten free menu after making it crystal clear my meal MUST be gluten free. Upon finishing my meal I realized I had a corn muffin on my tray and I didn’t recall that being included on the gluten free menu. Turns out it indeed was NOT gluten free. My waiter was completely unaware and I’d trained properly he would have known better than to even serve me my tray. The manager on duty comped our meal, but was stoic and robotic when apologizing. An apology doesn’t help the fact that I’ll be sick and in pain for days and/or potentially hospitalized due to your negligence. There is no apology that can fix such an egregious error! AVOID this restaurant if Celiac/gluten free/have if you serious allergies.

What a pleasure it is to dine at a restaurant with a separate gluten free menu. It may seem insignificant to those without celiac disease, but it’s a game changer for me when I’m dining out. I had the brisket sandwich and it was almost perfect (they’re could have been more brisket on the sandwich). My husband (not celiac) had the pulled pork/ribs combo and loved his meal. For dessert I had a flourless chocolate cake. Shout out to our attentive server, Daniel who made sure my meal was safe for me. We’ll be back!

My husband and I LOVE IT here!!! The food is always great and the servers are also great. The servers are always kind. You never wait too long for one of them greet you and take your order no matter how busy they are! Erin and Heather constantly watch to ensure our take out order is correct since I am such a picky eater! This is truly one of my favorite places to go.

Went here for the first time tonight with some friends. Didn’t know what to expect, since I have a gluten allergy. Was surprised when I told the waiter and he handed me a fully gluten free menu! Had one of the BBQ platters and it was so good! It’s always so hard to find gluten free dinner spots, so we will definitely be coming back. Also, our waiter was so sweet and attentive. Highly recommend checking it out!

Our server, Oumar, was outstanding. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without hovering. He kept the table taken care of and made the whole visit feel welcoming.

Very much enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food . The food was juicy flavorful and NOT overly salty . Food came out relatively quick and it was hot when it came to the table . They have a fairly big gluten free menu as well which was very helpful and accommodating for us . We will definitely be coming back , the Beef Tips appetizer was amazing and the Brisket Mac N Cheese was delicious ( Don’t forget to get a side of cornbread )

Tonight was my first time at Baker’s American Bar and Grill. To say that my friend and I were impressed, is quite an understatement. The manager, Erin was helpful, warm and reassuring over the phone and even more gracious upon our arrival. Our waitress, Gianne, was beyond polite, sweet, attentive and helpful making great suggestions. A fresh pot of coffee was brewed just for us, since we arrived an hour to closing and they wanted the coffee to be spot on (it was!!). The onion rings were phenomenal as was the Mac ‘n Cheese. A+ experience! Will definitely be back! Thanks ladies!!

One of our favorites places!! Erin the manager is so welcoming and friendly!! My son and I go love to go there in Mondays we enjoy the atmosphere and of course the servers. This past Monday we had Vianna. She’s just lovely. So sweet and friendly and a great server !! Just love this place.

This place has good American food, the server was really friendly and we had a good time. We ordered the Texas BBQ burger with onion rings, it was an unbelievably good burger. Loved every bite. Our second order was chicken parmesan. The chicken in the dish was nice and we enjoyed it, however, the pasta with it was bland with no salt, pepper, or spices whatsoever in it. I kept adding salt the entire time, it was still bland. I would have loved some premixed sauce, salt, herbs, and perhaps olive oil or butter with it. Anyway, the burger made up for the lack of pasta, so all is good. Thanks, chef!

I’ve been to this restaurant many times, and the wait staff is usually attentive. Our meals always start with a Margherita pizza before moving on to entrées, and one thing this place used to have going for it was consistency.
Unfortunately, today was a terrible experience. We decided to order from the brick oven pizza menu, and everything went downhill from there.
I arrived at 5:30 pm, so the restaurant wasn’t busy. Despite that, the service was awful. I had to get up three different times to flag down our server, who seemed more interested in chatting with the bartender than checking on tables. After dropping off our appetizer, he disappeared—and I even had to ask for silverware.
The food was just as disappointing. Both pizzas were burnt, not “brick oven char,” but actually burnt. I ended up cutting off the crust to give to my 7-year-old just to avoid the hassle of sending it back. From the server to the chef, no one stopped to notice that this should never have been served. The pizza chef was the same one we always see at the brick oven, so there are no excuses.
Needless to say, this restaurant is now officially crossed off our list.
This review is for management and ownership: you need to correct the course of this restaurant. Loyal customers like me will simply stop coming. You’re not a seasonal shore restaurant with a captive audience—you rely on local customers like Me who live two miles away and visit frequently. If this level of service and food continues, you’ll lose us.

Randomly stopped into Baker’s and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. We sat at the bar and was attended to immediately. I ordered the southern chicken sliders and they were delicious. Perfectly fried chicken breast that was crispy and juicy. Very simple, but it hit the spot. The price was great. I’d happily eat at Baker’s again.
