Good food, service and atmosphere. Predictable bar food. Serving size was average. Homemade chips were well done and crispy. Many hightop tables and some standard tables are available. There is also a patio available in warmer weather. Server was attentive.

I have been coming here since Hamlin opened. And again ether 2nd or third time I’ve ordered a pub club sandwich and it came out like a sample. Waitress said I’ll make it over I said no I’m done with this. I’m now putting everything with pictures on facebook and local Richmond sights I’ve had it. Raising your prices but losing your standard of quality. The main problem is you need a person that does nothing but check products as they come out of the kitchen against a set standard. When chiefs take an end of a loaf of bread and make a sandwich out of it then quarter it up it’s a mess. My normal spending there is somewhere around 70.00-130.00 but not anymore. You guys used to be ok what happened? No one ( manager) is paying attention. And that my friend in this business world is going to take you down.

Tonight’s experience was terrible. We were seated out on the “heated” patio. There were no tables available inside. It was so cold out there, I left my down coat on and didn’t take my gloves off until the food was delivered. Our waitress was very good and she apologized. I realize she had no control over it but that area should have been closed. The wind came in thru the gaps between the plastic and the brick columns. The manager came in once and turned the heaters up, to no avail. He made no effort to speak to anyone at the couple of occupied tables. I won’t go back there again.

We sat 30 before we got water. Then put in our order and waited 45 minutes. Then we got our Mozzerella sticks that were hot and delicious. Then our Chicken dumpling soup came out and it was ice cold. We ended up taking it home to heat up, because service was so slow and we wanted to get home. It was loud in there and we wanted some relaxing quiet.

We came here with friends. I ordered the chicken dinner special. The thigh was under cooked. I sent it back and the manager came out to defend the meal. I know what under cooked chicken looks and feels like… They also did not take anything deduction off of the bill.
Our friend ordered the boneless chicken wings and ended up sending them back twice. They did end up taking these off of her bill.

I was really disappointed in how terrible the service was. We were seated right away & had our orders taken. Our server just disappeared & never checked on us to see if we needed(drinks, maybe an appetizer)anything while we waited an HOUR for our food. It was ridiculous. When it finally arrived to our table, some in our party received cold food. Again our server disappeared not to be seen again till we received our bill. We won’t be going back anytime soon or ever.

Hamlin is always great, I never have a bad time. Sometimes a little loud but I realize there’s a crowd for that, just not my scene so if they’re partying or have live music I tend to not go, however if that is your deal, their live performers they have do a fantastic job. Servers are usually pretty on top of what I need while im there, during busier times things can take a little longer but thats okay. If I wasn’t moving soon I would continue to come here as im able to, will frequent another Hamlin where ever I go.

The service was amazing even considering they were packed! Pizza was good we deep dish and the crust was very good, very crunchy. Got like a spicy Mac n cheese which was not the best but I knew it would be different. They have a pretty huge beer menu and an enormous bar. They were also getting live music going.

Ordered the Sunday Chicken Dinner at the suggestion of our server(Izzy) and it was great! It is alot of food for 1 person so you may want to share it but it was yummy. Good times had by all.
