Guacamole is fantastic! And their chips are also really good to go with it.
Their Tio Trio – 3 Enchiladas (chicken, short rib, and pork belly) was delicious.
My wife enjoyed their Shrimp bowl. And my kids liked their chicken fingers and fries.
Waitress Tania was very good and attentive. She brought me a refill before I even asked.
They share the same rewards program with Tommy’s Tavern and Tap, which is great.

This place has never failed me once. The food is flavorful and cooked to perfection. They are attentive to food allergies. Every waiter/waitress is funny and kind especially Olivia who was the most energetic, lovely waitress. Music is a good level and makes ya wanna dance!

I have passed by here many times and wanted to try it. I finally decided to stop in and was so happy that I did! It was about 12:30 on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn’t very busy so we were seated right away. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. The food was delicious! I will definitely be going again! I had the short rib enchilada. It was so tasty and filling. I enjoyed it thoroughly. The rice and beans were good as well. If you want different sides , they do offer that as well . My boys had different varieties of tacos and were very Happy with their choice as well. The temperature of the food was perfect and the churros were a wonderful dessert. There was plenty of parking and the greeter was pleasant when we arrived and also wished us well as we left. I was happy to hear they are affiliated with Tommy’s Tavern , so I had a rewards card to use. Can’t wait to go again!

Tio is great. I am a big fan of the birria tacos they have. Most places dont make a good birria broth, they have it down oat at tio. Definitely worth trying out if you like Mexican food and very good margaritas. The wings were awesome too

First time here. From the moment I was helped at the front with a wrong reservation, the staff were amazing. Very accommodating. From what I saw, it looks like staff is hustling. Our party was lucky to have Sofia helping out table. Wow. What an amazing person. I hope you get to meet her. Okay, the food was delicious. Very tasty and it has that “home kitchen” taste. I am not from around but I would make it a point to come back and enjoy the experience. Not one thing to complain about during my visit. Awesome.

The food was very spicy and not very flavorful at the same time. The shrimp tacos had a lot of cabbage in them and the cauliflower taco was so hot I couldn’t eat… And it was full of cabbage and pickled peppers but no real sauce or anything with flavor except for the extreme Buffalo taste on the cauliflower. We also tried a cheese dip appetizer, but it was just solid fried cheese with a little pico de gallo baked on top the margarita was OK but they forgot my Salted rim. Atmosphere was really nice. Maybe Some of the food is much better.

Gotta go! Food was PHENOMENAL! Staff was so friendly and service was quick. Drinks were amazing. My favorite thing besides the food was the music. Not all Spanish music. I truly enjoyed the whole experience 🙂

My girlfriend and I love this place. It’s also a very easy place to eat healthier if you’re trying. We will usually split the Cobb Salad to start and then I will stick to the grilled shrimp tacos with sauces on the side. Even on a diet it hits everytime. My only weakness is the Coco Loco which I’m surprised isn’t talked about more in these reviews because it is arguably the best drinkon the menu!

First of all, I need to say that I’ve been a Tio (and Tommy’s) customer for almost 10 years now in their Edison locations and here in Marlboro and I’ve NEVER been disappointed neither from the food or service I’ve got. At least until tonight. It’s Margarita monday, so half price margaritas. I always get the Teremana-rita, and even if they took it off their menu over a year ago, they can still make it without problems if you request it. Tonight my table ordered 5 Teremana-ritas in total and when we got the check, they were full price. Asked to speak to a manager to ask why, and when he came over he said that those are exempt from the discount because they’re not on the menu anymore. Told him that it’s a regular margarita like all the others and that I always got it discounted on mondays when it was on the menu and he started making stories up about the fact that it’s a different kind of Tequila and all that nonsense. Man, a bottle of Teremana is 25 bucks at the liquor store! And just the fact that I ordered a drink that used to be on the menu over a year ago should tell you how much of a loyal customer I am… If that was really the reason, you should tell me when I ORDER the drinks that they will not be discounted, so I know and I have no problem paying or ordering something else. Needless to say, we had to pay full price and I left VERY disappointed.

Late lunch with a best friend. Service was friendly, fast & attentive. Margaritas were great. Warm chips with salsas(red & green) generous portions delicious. Taco salad great. Blackened Shrimp Bowl great. We loved it and we’ll be back.
