Absolutely fabulous restaurant that was a bit difficult to find but once I got there, well worth it. They serve breakfast and lunch. I had the crab cake eggs Benedict and it was great. Perfectly poached eggs and the crab cakes were light and flavorful. They serve a southwestern type of cornbread that actually tastes more like cake. Yummy. I’ll certainly go back now that I know how to find it. Google maps kept telling me to turn left once I turned into the parking lot but since I did not see the restaurant, I kept going straight. No worries, it is located directly in front of the Hilton Garden Inn and is attached to the Nautilus Seafood and Grill. Go have some breakfast.

Cassidy was an Awesome server. Delicious Food well seasoned and cooked requested. Plenty of space with several tables available. Several food options on the menu. Cozy restaurant with a homemade vibe. This restaurant was referred at a local retail store. Loved the Shrimp & Grits!

This place hit the spot! The french toast is absolutely delicious, the grits were great (which can often be hard to find), the shrimp and grits are a must have, and the cornbread that is brought to your table before the meal is mouth watering with slight hints of jalapeños. Not one person in our group of 6 had a bad experience or bad food. It is nice to have a spot you can grab breakfast at besides the normal cracker barrel or waffle house.

The service was good. Our server was friendly & attentive. The food was delicious. The shrimp & grits was cooked perfectly. I’m just not a big fan of the seasoning used. Not Cajun enough to my liking. The fried green tomatoes was delicious. I just wish they offered a zesty ranch for the tomatoes. The sausage gravy & biscuit was delicious. I’m not a biscuit person but they were the best biscuits I ever had. The gravy wasn’t the best but not bad. Again, it was the seasoning…not spicy or enough pepper. Overall, the food was delicious and cooked well.

Really good atmosphere. There was some confusion over our reservation but after we were seated, the experience was pretty good. There were seven at our table. Food was good and with the exception of a few incorrect orders that were fixed, overall the service was pretty good.

My wife and I had a fantastic brunch at the Red Rooster Restaurant! The cheese grits were absolutely top-notch—rich, and perfectly seasoned. It’s rare to dine out and not need to reach for the salt and pepper, but Red Rooster nailed it!
Jessica, our server, was nothing short of amazing —warm, attentive, and truly skilled at making guests feel welcome. Great people skills make all the difference, and she certainly delivered.
We highly recommend this spot for a satisfying and flavorful meal. I’ll definitely be back!

I love a good breakfast place — and Red Rooster has the best breakfast food in the Low Country. It has the standard breakfast fare, and so much more. Plus gourmet coffee drinks that take your meal to another level. Maui Cakes with the taste of Hawaii? Yes, please? Breakfast panini and breakfast tacos — both served with the best cheesy grits you’ll ever have.

Best pancakes I’ve had in a while. My partner enjoyed the Crab Cakes Benedict as well.
Highly recommend for breakfast, and I’m sure lunch and dinner is fantastic.
Wanted to especially note, Jamelia, our server, was/is excellent- kind, attentive and accommodating. Deserves all the raises.
Next time we’re Beaufort, we will try Red Rooster for dinner!

My husband and I had breakfast here. He got the eieio and I got catfish and grits. Our service was phenomenal and so was our food. The cornbread they brought to the table was some of the best I’ve ever had and my peach tea was the star of the show. So! So! Good!
