A younger woman by the name of marianna, hope I spelt it right, was very rude to me the morning of the 22nd of June. It started with dirty looks, then comments under her breath, to finally saying “have a alright day” while giving me a dirty look. I have never dealt with a younger person being so ugly with their actions and presence. Usually it’s older people so I am flabbergasted. Usually subway is my go to due to AFRID, but after this experience I will not go to the subway in Platte South Dakota. I’m saddened by this woman’s actions as I’ve never viewed subway in this light or manor. I’m suprised the managers let a woman with this attitude work there, or even serve the customers. I hope they do better in the future. I don’t even know this woman, I only know her name due to her name tag on her hat. So therefor, I don’t know why this woman was acting in this manor. I am Native American so if it’s stemming from that or if it’s just her natural attitude but it was definitely appalling and disgusting. I really hope the managers do better on who they hire in the future. It makes you wonder if the managers carry themselves in the same manor.

Not sure if my experience is normal but we needed food for a funeral that we didn’t have a lot of time to prepare for. So we thought subway, fast food but healthy option. We tried calling for several hours to place an order and nobody would answer the phone and the machine specifically said not to leave a measage and keep trying to call. When we gave up on calling and went in person, the staff was worse than rude even after we explained the situation. We don’t live in town so we had limited options. We ended up just ordering 5 foot long sandwhiches (which was the max she would make) and just cut them up on our own.

The place was packed and had a long line. Staff worked really fast and we only waited about 10 minutes for at least 15 people ahead of us. Veggies were really fresh.
