We arrive just after 11 AM local time to a line out the door. We were seated within 10 mins – fast for a cozy place.
My husband had the Mountain Momma and I have the veggie sandwich. His included tots and mine had a nice green salad.
His was a turkey burger that has a nice kick and was delicious as he consumed it in record time! The burger fixings were placed in the basket to let you choose what and how much to put on the burger. No special order needed – yeah! The tots were hot and fresh – also consumed quickly – but AFTER the burger – first for him.
My veggie sandwich included spinach and broccoli which was a pleasant surprise on a grilled veggie sandwich. I opted out of the cheese , if you are so inclined it would have stepped up the sandwich a notch in my opinion. My salad was great and they added dill pickles at my request.
The staff was polite provided quick service and was also good about food advice !
The small gift shop is worth that stop too!
We got the Chili Cheese Omelet – which had some nice, thick chili on it, and a sandwich. They allow a lot of substitutions, which let us tailor our meals exactly to our liking. I got grits, and my partner had the fried pickles. Get the fried pickles! They are perfect.
Their bread is also high quality here – the rye is marbled and soft in the middle, and the wheat has grains in it.
We had breakfast at Anna’s Canyon Cafe before heading to the Grand Canyon, and it was a great choice. Even though we had to wait about 20 minutes, it was absolutely worth it – the food was delicious and freshly made.
I had the vegetarian omelet, which was flavorful and fresh, while my husband said his country fried steak was one of the best American breakfasts he’s ever had. The service was fast and very friendly, and there’s a free parking lot right across the street. Highly recommended stop if you’re in Williams!
The waiting time could be up to 30 min! It’s always busy!
The staff is doing a great job!
We enjoyed our breakfast there and the portions are huge!
Definitely worth going!
Huge recommendation!
Super old school American: great taste, huge portions and fair prices. And super nice staff !
