Great food and great atmosphere! My mom and I had the Hayden lake omelette(smoked salmon)! Only place in the area that I’ve found to have a salmon omelette and they never disappoint! We ordered the Black Forest cherry crepes and they were absolutely delicious! My sister ordered the December Benny. Honestly great food everytime I’ve come here! It is very popular so definitely get there early!! We were luckily to wait 20 min on a Sunday morning!

First timer here.
We ordered for pickup on Sunday around noon. Food was ready within 15 minutes
We thoroughly enjoyed our food.
My favorite was the GF Athol Orchards Caramel Apple Roll.
Yay for local, small business!
The front entrance area/bar area is VERY SMALL. It’s very close knit quarters until waiting people are seated or people leave the restaurant. For this VERY reason, I’ll never eat inside.
We were charged a “transaction fee” that we knew nothing about, until after payment. Got home to realize it was a credit card fee. A heads up would’ve been cool. Will remember for the future.

We came here from a recommendation. Food wasn’t amazing. My French toast was ok. My wife’s veggie wrap had spinach that should have had the stems cut off.
Carpet was really dirty and the seat cushions on the booths was really in bad shape. Really noisy

This place had a really good breakfast and great atmosphere. This place is really busy, normally I see people waiting outside as I drive by. This time we decided to try it out so we came early in the morning and were able to walk right in. Highly recommend.

The best fresh breakfast I’ve found. I love their house made sauce on everything they have. Get here early because their dining room is tiny and they tend to have a long wait line but there is a reason for it. In good weather, you can sit on their patio outside which is pet friendly as well. I find that their dining room is cold so I bundle up. One of my favorite breakfast places.

This was a nice find on our way from Wisconsin to Oregon. Easy to find and parking is good and spacious. We went with the smoked salmon Benedict and a biscuit and gravy. Finishing the meal with the cinnamon roll! The frosting is amazing, the dough a bit dense but still has nice chew to it. The plating is nothing fancy, just a nicely cooked meal. Glad we stopped!

I loved the Cafe, it’s look and the atmosphere. We had great service. The food left a little to be desired. My veggie scramble was decent sized for $13 just not very tasty, it was missing flavor and I’d have liked more veggies. My husband’s burrito was very small he held it with 3 fingers, which is small for a $15 burrito. I appreciated the message on the menu explaining the prices. In my opinion people will pay for quality food and good portions. We all understand the costs have gone up. I feel my scramble was good portion to price and my husband’s burrito not so much.

Chomper Cafe. What’s in a name? I don’t know but you’ll definitely want to chomp down on the grub at this little establishment. You’ll often find a wait here but the food is worthy of your time. I enjoyed the chicken fried steak with sausage gravy which was the best I’ve had in North Idaho. It wasn’t a frozen puck simply deep fried and served like most places. The cinnamon roll was ok nothing special IMO. Server, Jake, did a good job as well. Looking forward to my next visit.

I love the food – it’s great. And if you choose to dine-in, it’s a wonderful experience.
The very frustrating thing about this place is when trying to order by phone. I called them and was put on hold for over 10 mins before they hung up on me. While on hold, I can hear the host/waitress laughing and making chitchat with others. How hard is it to just spend 30 secs to take my order?
It is a testament to how good the food is that, despite this, I still will eat here.

I have been coming here for several years since they opened and it used to be awesome, so it really bums me out that my last few experiences have been pretty terrible. The service was dismal, barely checked on and our waitress seemed pretty annoyed that we were there. I know everyone has “off” days, and I can have grace for that. But the food didn’t make up for it one bit. I got corned beef hash, an $18 menu item. There was maybe a quarter cup of corned beef on top of a huge pile of unseasoned hashbrowns. My friend got an omelet and his hashbrowns were cold in the center. The waitress seemed kind of zoned out or something when we did interact the very few times, she didn’t write down part of our order either. The food quality here has gone down so much which is so sad! It used to be consistently delicious 2 or so years ago, and the employees all seemed genuinely happy. The last few times I came the meat portions were laughable as well, so it doesn’t seem like a one off anymore. Sad to say I won’t be eating here again.
