I went here for lunch and was quickly seated as the restaurant was pretty empty for 1:30 p.m. I ordered the Teriyaki steak. It was excellent. Not only do you get rice and vegetables, but they also give you noodles which were yummy. Portion size was big. My only gripe is that when I asked for a container to take some shrimp sauce home, I was told it would cost me a $1.50. All I wanted to do was pour some out of the bottle into a container. I would have used it had I stayed in the restaurant and finished my meal, so I found that chintzy.

I don’t usually write reviews, but after eating here, I feel legally obligated to inform the public.

This restaurant didn’t just serve food. It delivered a life experience.

From the first bite, I actually stopped mid-chew and stared at my plate like it had just whispered secrets of the universe to me. I briefly considered applauding.

It had me questioning every other meal I’ve ever tolerated in my life. Let’s just say it was better than an orgasm — and unlike an orgasm, it lasted longer and came with zero awkwardness afterward.

I left full, happy, and slightly confused about how food can taste this good without being illegal.

If you’re debating whether to go — stop debating. Go. Bring friends. Or don’t. Honestly, you may want to experience this level of pleasure in private.

10/10. Would happily ruin all other restaurants for myself again.

The restaurant itself is tucked in a newer strip mall area. The outside is clean free of trash.

When we walked in we were not greeted at the host stand but instead called out to by one of the employees from the back, “How can I help you?”

We were sat within a timely manner and offered beverages. We order sushi, salad, soup, and a kids meal.

The salad came out within a decent time frame but unfortunately was drenched in the ginger dressing so much so that half the bowl was filled with the dressing at the bottom.

The soup tasted okay with the addition of soy sauce. After the soup and salad arrived we were given our entrees. The sushi overall tasted fresh but for the price and quality I could have gotten the same quality for a lesser price at Kroger.

The kids meal was again too heavily sauced and tasted too sweet.

We left with the thought that we would not return again and would not recommend to others.

I’ve eaten here several times and it’s always been fantastic. This is my wife’s favorite place to get their pork dumplings and spicy tuna roll.

We ordered the 2 egg rolls, pork dumplings, Philly roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, The Tuna Mikata Roll and the Beef and Chicken Hibachi with the house salad covered in ginger dressing.

I can say this with confidence that their egg rolls and pork dumplings are probably the best I’ve ever had and we consistently order these items at every Japanese restaurant we visit so that says a lot.

The sushi rolls were also very good, but the spicy tuna roll stood out to me personally as being extremely good. I don’t normally order spicy tuna rolls as that is my wife’s favorite, but she also insists that I try it every time we go out. After trying it I told her that I could order that for myself because it was that good. The actual tuna by itself was incredible, I wanna say that it had been marinated in something.

The hibachi was good, but a little overly sweet in my opinion. It seemed like everything from the actual hibachi dish and even the shrimp sauce just had a little too much sugar. However, this did not slow me down and after adding their homemade hot sauce to the plate it was awesome. Also their hot sauce was on point, excellent flavor and actually spicy could definitely tell it made by the restaurant. Not pictured is the salad as I ate it so fast and then realized that I didn’t snap a photo of it, but it was great no complaints at all.

The service was top notch it felt like everyone in the restaurant from hostess, wait staff, and even cooks were all being attentive to customers.

Like I said I’ve eaten here many times and will continue to keep coming for years to come.

If you’re in the area, Mikata has the best hibachi/ teriyaki. Not only does it come with your choice of meat, rice, and veggies, but noodles are also a part of the entrée! You get the best of both carb worlds. Side salads used to be included as well, but sadly, as food has gotten more expensive, a side salad will cost you an additional $1.50 on top of the meal. Still worth it, though! Another plus is the service. The staff are friendly and fast to assist.

Service was good and wait time reasonable. The food taste and quality were underwhelming. The “beef” was almost rubbery with poor flavor (no option to order filet like most similar restaurants).
The rice seemed quickly thrown together (see pic of white rice showing a lack of being mixed). There was no egg or veggies in the fried rice, just rice with a bit of sauce.
Overall lack of flavor and quality.

Very disappointing recently. Noodles and mushrooms have been shrinking in quantity, even tofu is minimal. In addition, service is very cold, we didn’t feel welcome.
Wait time was too long as there were just 3 more occupied tables.
Eating out should be more special than a dinner at home. This restaurant needs a lot of improvement to offer that experience to customers.
We’ll be going to other similar places, probably not make the trip to come back here.

Unreal! I couldn’t believe how good it was. The prices were so reasonable that we tried a bunch of things. The rolls were really beautiful and delicious. Hibachi was probably the best I’ve ever had. We didn’t know it was carryout only; since we came super hungry we devoured it in the parking lot as you can see in the photos. Will be back soon!

The food is good. All kinds of sushi. The decor could be updated. Update: I don’t really enjoy being screamed at three times when I walk in the door “may I help you?”
The waiter was perfect. I’ve posted a few photos.

Great sushi rolls and good options on the menu for non sushi fans. Chicken and steak we both great. Service was surprising in how fast it was. I liked the special roll and they have a decent salad. I want to try more soon. Prices were very reasonable.
Dine in is back!
