I recently tried out the indoor golf simulator at River Rats, and it was a blast! The owner was incredibly helpful, giving us a thorough walkthrough on how to use the system. The simulator was a lot of fun. Combine that with the bar, and you’ve got a perfect spot for a fun night out!

Great little gem in murphysboro! Good to see nice spots popping up in my hometown. Might be too nice to call a dive, but hopefully it’ll be around a long time and develop that vibe. We had a great time inside and out on the patio.

I honestly can’t decide which part is most prominent about this place… the open racism or the blatant homophobia/transphobia. Either way, no beer selection or crazy good local music is worth the bigotry. Go somewhere else. Also, musicians… don’t play here either… find better places to play for better audiences.
