This was the first time eating at Popeye’s and it will be my last. I looked at the menu before coming so I had an idea of what I wanted, which I picked the shrimp and chicken tender combo. I wanted to try all the sides so I got the large combo and then the two regular sides for $5. I also got an apple pie and a strawberry and cream cheese pie. I’m having a hard time understanding how anybody likes this food. It didn’t have that spicy kick I was expecting. It tasted really odd and weird where it made my stomach hurt. There was hardly any chicken inside of the tenders plus they were very small and the breading was almost too hard to chew. I personally thought the biscuit tasted gross. The red beans and rice had a particularly odd smell to it and it did not taste any better. The coleslaw was okay but not exactly my cup of tea when it came to the flavor. The mac and cheese was the most edible, but it was mostly goops of cheese and a few noodles. The mashed potatoes and cajun gravy was extremely weird to me and I did not care for how it tasted. I suppose the pies were the only thing that was good however by the time I got to the end of forcing myself to eat some of this food I didn’t exactly have a desire to enjoy the pies at this point. It was $20 wasted in my opinion, of my hard-earned money. I don’t know if this is normal or if it’s supposed to taste different/better than this. Maybe they aren’t cleaning the kitchen properly? I ate inside and it was really hot in there and that weird smell of the food was stinking up the entire dining area. The smell was TOO MUCH. Like there’s no proper ventilation. I’m posting this 5 hours after eating their food and my stomach hurts so bad. I will absolutely never again come to Popeyes. If I could, I would demand my $20 back.

I have been eating at this location for a few years now and love the food. The last 5 or 6 weekly visits the quality of the food and the service has been hit or miss for me. I see employees stepping outside to smoke and return to serving food without washing their hands. The entry doors do not appear to be cleaned for quite some time. The 2 managers that were informed said thank you but I have not seen any improvement. I am willing at this point to give this location another visit in the near future. I feel it is all up to the management to be managers first and friends second. Thank you.

I asked if the shrimp was spicy and the cashier was like no. So I asked for the shrimp combo and was told they was out of it. So I did the two piece chicken combo w/ fries and I asked for fresh fries and they gave me what was laying there and they was barely warm. The chicken was not hot neither was the biscuit. I would use caution going there.

Not coming in as a customer but coming in as a dasher, possibly some of the slowest staff I have ever experienced, orders backed up on screen, took almost 10 minutes of waiting for one of them to acknowledge I was there, then almost a 20 minute wait for 2 chicken sandwiches to be made. Quite ridiculous also watching customers wait 10+ minutes for food to even be started.

I love Popeyes so much but I have to go to Columbus to get qualify food. This one in Vienna, WV has terrible fried chicken which is so sad. They give Popeyes a really bad name. I avoid the Vienna, WV store at all costs. Wish there was a way to make the chicken match the ones in Columbus because I live in this area and would be a great customer if quality improved.

Ordered food online and picked up at the drive thru and went back to Airbnb which was about 4 miles away and had no fries. This is getting to be the norm at fast food places. Always double check before pulling away from window.

These employees do not want this store to be in business. It is a disaster. If (major if) you can get them to wait on you, it will take forever to get your food. The manager complains constantly about being there and then she picked something from her mouth then picked up the paper for our boxes without cleaning her hands first. Just a very disappointing experience every time we come here. The food is great, but if they do not get people who care, the business will not make it.

Stopped by here for lil Dinner, Plenty of parking, Dined in, Inside was clean, Staff was nice, Ordered 12pcs Sweet n Spicy Wings with Bayou Buffalo Dipping Sauce, Mac&Cheese and a Biscuit, the Lobby was quite since was the only Customer dining in at that time, Food came out reasonable time, it all was very Delicious, defiantly a Keeper!!
