Also really enjoyed the host too, I think his name was Chris. Very energetic and kind. Overall I enjoyed this place. Will return.
No “hello.” No “sorry.” Just straight attitude.
We told her we wanted to dine in and she said she would ask her manager. She came back and said the manager said no — yet the manager never came out, never spoke to us, and never offered any explanation or apology. That alone tells you everything about how this place is being run.
This wasn’t about closing time. This was about laziness and terrible customer service. If you’re open, you serve customers — you don’t brush them off because you personally feel done for the day.
The lack of professionalism, basic courtesy, and accountability was wild. We weren’t rude. We weren’t demanding. We just wanted to eat. Instead, we got dismissed like we didn’t matter.
If you value being treated with respect, skip this IHOP. Nobody should be talked to like that, especially not paying customers.
It took over 15 minutes to get the food. It was cold and the toast was lighted toasted. I summoned a waitress to have this corrected. The cook microwaves the plate to heat the food. Now, the eggs were hard, and the hash browns were so-so and the sausage was barely warm. Apparently, the cook did not focus on the order, the food was not prepared correctly, cold, and no sense of urgency to deliver the food. Totally unacceptable for a restaurant like this. As a certified chef, I would never send food to a customer in this fashion. Highly suggest that more front and back of the house training and management needs to occur. It’s questionable as to whether I’ll return to this restaurant.
