The food is always really good. We eat here often and my husband has tried most everything on the menu at this point. It is always hot. And the ingredients seem fresh. The hosts/hostesses are always very friendly and helpful. However, sometimes the time it takes to be seen after being seated is too long. All of the waitresses are very nice though. We love the bands on Fridays! My husband’s burger last time we were in was too pretty not to snap a pic of!

Always good food and good service without getting into all the traffic and crowds everywhere else. Their house draft(Boar Bock) cannot be beat. Checkout the Fish sandwich with sweet potato fries I had and my wife’s Spaghetti with Garlic Knots. Sooooo good.

I really wanted to like this place, but after three visits, I am done trying.
The first time we came, the pretzel was hard and the cheese was cold. We figured it was just an off day. The second visit, with my in laws, was worse. My FIL ordered a burger that came out with zero condiments. When he asked for Thousand Island, they said they only had ketchup and mustard and agreed to bring those. They never did. By the time the server came back (again, without said condiments) the burger was cold. He asked for a replacement burger with the condiments and was told yes, but it never arrived. On top of that, we ordered multiple pretzels for the table and every single one was overcooked with cold cheese again. My in laws were so frustrated that we paid and left without eating.
After more than a year, we gave it one last chance. The restaurant was nearly empty, so we expected better. The salad was actually good, which gave us hope. Then the pretzel arrived hard yet again. The pizza that followed was completely burnt and so overcooked it could not be cut with a serrated knife. The server said that was normal for their pizza, which does not match the photos in their reviews at all. After a long wait for a replacement, we asked to cancel it and asked for the check. They did remove the pizza from the bill and allowed us to take the replacement home for free, which we appreciated. The replacement pizza we took home was cooked properly but completely lacked flavor and quality. Three visits, the same issues every time. At this point I’m honestly flabbergasted at the good reviews and how this place stays open. Maybe the salads are what’s keeping them afloat?

Just put in context this restaurant at the time was not that busy at all. The menu they gave me was nasty. It had been used so many times you couldn’t read all of it the table was sticky even after it been cleaned, and the booth seats are bottomed out just to clear the air. I don’t expect perfection but this was just accumulation of things first of all I ordered extra tartar sauce and blue cheese, which they did not bring. I was almost halfway through the meal the waitress passed me up several times never checked on me ran out of tartar sauce needed more napkins because they only give you one even though they should bring out more when you’re eating wings obviously so I grabbed the receptionist and he took care of the issue. When I ordered my drink, I asked the waitress to bring me out an unsweet tea and a sweet tea with no ice and a glass with ice because they always mix your half-and-half too sweet she was very nice about it at the time, but at the end of the meal, she brought me a bill and charge me for two teas when I asked her to take it off. She goes well it’s how you ordered it. lol Had the catfish appetizer would recommend, the wings are pretty good, but for some reason, the chicken seemed dry. Odd for deep fried wings. I’m guessing the pizzas are a big hit. It’s not what I ordered, but it seems like it was very popular in the restaurant.

Everything was pretty good, but I have to say, I get pretzels and beer cheese everywhere I go. I have to compare it to all other places, it’s my thing 🙂
This place has the second best pretzels and beer cheese I have ever had. Number one being Wunderbar in Kentucky. But man this is a close second!

Kudos to a great staff! Some of the best service I’ve experienced in a long time. I have forgotten our waitresses name but I know she also works at a salon – she was AMAZING!
I wasn’t to fond of my dish the catfish. It was very very fishy but the breading of it was cooked perfectly. Also not too fond of the chips. I was told the burger and bbq were delicious. I would like to try the pizza the next visit. It seems to be all the raze. I liked that they do karaoke – however, the volume can be turned down a very good amount you cannot hear the person next to you talking.

Fourteen us went for lunch. First thing I noticed is they definitely need new menus. Most were washed out and difficult to read. Everyone who had wings said they were great. The one who had pizza also said it was good. One person had the grilled chicken. It was very dry and overcooked. I had the soup and grilled cheese. The sandwich was underwhelming. The soup was tepid at best. I brought it home to heat up and eat later. Overall, it was not a great experience. I would, however, give them another chance to prove me right or prove me wrong.

First time eating here! The food was fabulous and the environment cozy. I took friends for lunch. I had the catfish dinner with sweet potato fries and coleslaw. My friends and I enjoyed the visit.

Drinks were amazing. Food was good. Not quite as good as the last few times on a previous trip here, but still… I got the burger with the Mac n cheese on it. I think it was called the Mac Daddy Melt. It needed a bit more flavor. The fries were though. And the bacon wrapped jalapeños were A1!!!!!
