We had a great meal at Tony’s! Service was impeccable, our server Paul was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Food was delicious, we enjoyed the braised short ribs, Brussels sprouts, and bone in steak. Dessert was amazing as well! We were here on a road trip, but if we ever come back to Lexington, KY we will definitely return!

Tony’s Steakhouse is hands down one of the best places in Lexington to celebrate any special occasion. Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, promotion, or just a nice night out, Tony’s always delivers a top-notch experience. The atmosphere feels elegant but still comfortable — perfect for making an evening feel special without being too formal.

The food is consistently excellent, from the perfectly cooked steaks to the sides and desserts that never disappoint. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and take pride in every dish that leaves the kitchen. I’ve tried several cuts of steak here, and each one has been tender, flavorful, and cooked exactly how I ordered it.

What really sets Tony’s apart, though, is the service. The wait staff are always professional, attentive, and genuinely friendly. They make you feel like a valued guest every time. It’s rare to find a restaurant that’s this consistent in both quality and hospitality, and that’s why I keep coming back.

If you’re looking for a place that makes every meal feel like a celebration, Tony’s Steakhouse is it. You’ll leave full, happy, and already thinking about your next visit.

My wife and I were there on 2.18.26 to celebrate my 76th Birthday. I failed to mention a booth when I placed the reservations, however, the team was able to provide our favorite booth (#2) in less than 10 minutes. The 9 oz filets were perfectly seasoned and prepared. The bourbon whipped sweet potatoes are outstanding. The server was so friendly and attentive. We typically only make it to Lexington once a year, but Tony’s is a must for us. Great evening for us, thanks to Tony’s!

We had a delicious dinner at Tony’s last night. Mason and Fletcher were knowledgeable and friendly servers, and each dish was so flavorful. We actually realized as we were leaving that the restaurant had been closed for over an our, and yet we were never made to feel rushed.

Everything on the menu was exquisite. Calamari, steak tatar, salads, even the bread impressed. Incredible main dishes. The prices might justify the quality until you see that they charge $5 for butter on top of your $84 steak. But this only gets 4 stars. The restaurant is uncomfortably loud. To the point that our waiter had to yell about the specials, then had to do it again on the other end of the table. Some creative soundproofing is sorely needed; I’ve been to quieter metal concerts.

I had an excellent business dinner at Tony’s of Lexington. The restaurant is beautifully designed and well-maintained, with a warm and elegant atmosphere. The staff were extremely attentive and accommodating throughout the evening. The menu offers a wide range of tempting dishes, but the true highlight is the steaks — I went with one myself, and it did not disappoint. Despite the restaurant being full, the noise level was perfectly manageable, allowing for easy conversation. Service was both friendly and efficient. Overall, a fantastic experience — I’ll gladly return!

We had reservations for dinner and were seated as soon as we got there. The restaurant is both busy and loud so it makes it a little difficult to carry on a conversation. We started with the mixed greens salad and our drinks included wine and a martini. The salad was excellent. For entrees we had the shrimp and grits plus the blackened yellowfin tuna. The shrimp dish was just okay, I expected it to be spicier and it was a little bit too sweet for my taste. The tuna was excellent. Our server for the evening was great, prices are on the high side, but that’s to be expected for a steak place. I would definitely return when in the area.

The friendliness of the staff is very welcoming and made me feel valued as a customer as I entered the establishment. The selection of the food, wine and drinks are amazing. The fillet steak that I had was literally the best steak I’ve ever had and was very very tender and flavorful..It was cooked and prepared to perfection. The waiter was one of the friendliest and nicest I’ve had ever. Thanks Stuart.Tony’s of Lexington is a must if you are ever in Lexington. Highly recommend and will definitely be back. Tony’s is one of those spots you go to when you want to enjoy a really nice meal out. The prices are definitely on the steep side, but every now and then, good food is worth a little extra — and Tony’s consistently makes that feel like money well spent.

We ordered a bit of everything: oysters on the half shell, braised short ribs, pasta pescatore, filet mignon, the wagyu special 22oz tomahawk, New Zealand rack of lamb, snapper, calamari, and mac & cheese. The oysters were fresh and enjoyable, though we’ve had better elsewhere. The calamari was good — crispy and flavorful — but nothing particularly unique. The mac & cheese was delicious and cooked perfectly, super creamy and rich. It’s definitely indulgent and may not be everyone’s favorite side, but we enjoyed it.

As for the main dishes — they absolutely delivered. The wagyu tomahawk was the highlight: tender, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth perfect. The lamb was beautifully seasoned and cooked just right. The snapper was flaky and light, and the pasta pescatore had a great balance of flavors. The braised short ribs and filet were also solid choices. The only real miss for us was the mashed potatoes — a bit too heavy on the horseradish for our liking, but that’s more about personal taste than anything else.

For dessert, we had the cheesecake — and it surprised us in the best way. It had more of a pound cake taste, and we loved it.

Our server, Sam, was truly outstanding. He knew the menu inside and out and answered our questions before we could even ask. Attentive without being overbearing, and genuinely made the whole experience even better.

Tony’s might not be our go to all the time in Lexington, but it’s a place we’ll definitely return to when we’re in the mood for a well-crafted meal and top-notch service

First time dining and the staff exceeded our expectations at every turn. Ahi tuna app and crab cake were incredible. Entrées were the short ribs and snapper, highly recommend either. Cocktails were perfect. We’ll be back
