Best Chinese food around! We’re originally from California and have had a ton of chinese through the years. This was definitely an experience from the friendly customer service who knew every customer by name, to the amazing quality of food, the complimentnary herbal tea. The meat was super tender and everything was well seasoned. We got dinner specials and the eggrolls were so crispy and delicious. I can’t wait to bring the rest of the family here and will definitely be back many times to come.

My first time and glad I went. The food was excellent, took out a couple of orders and still warm when we got home, friendly service, happy environment in general. We had the dinner special with Mangolian Beef on one and Chicken Lo Mein on the other. Plus hot and sour soup. All was wonderful, I added just a tad of vinegar in my soup cause I like the sour flavor. I would definitely recommend.

These people are always so nice. The last time we ate their, the woman on the phone was also informative. She told me that I was ordering two very similar dishes, and recommended another option instead to get some variety out of the menu. When my wife picked it up, they new her name and my name. The food is so very tasty.

Solid option for Chinese food in the Forest Grove area. New Chinese is locally owned, has friendly staff, and fast service. They have a large menu with pretty much any type of type of dish you would expect from a Chinese restaurant in small town Oregon.

What a lovely spot to visit on this cold December night! I could tell there were regulars, and from the banter of the large group next to us new visitors that were not disappointed; just like us. There was also a steady stream of people who had called ahead or ordered on line and were there to pick up their food. Also a super good sign.
Outside the window of our table, I waved at people across the way at the karaoke bar, and they waved back. The giggles I had seemed to fit well with the room. Our server, dashing to n fro like a humming bird, always had a smile and is one of those rare people that actually thrives in doing 10 thousand things at once, and does it well. Someone in the back came out to help a couple times, but the real star is the humming bird. Her smile and vibe just made everything better.
When the main courses were served they came in to go containers which really made me laugh and not mind at all because this saves time in the end. And you can still dish it out on your plate if you really want. Idk, ofc its not classy, but its just, well a modern and smart touch. Don’t judge. It works well in this small place. The demand is high, the turnover needs to be quick.
Anyway I was having such a great time I forgot to get pictures, but I cant wait to dig into my leftovers tomorrow!

AMAZING!!! I have never been a fan of Chinese food until i found this place. Food is always fresh and hot. Huge portions even for their lunch time menu. The prices are great for the amount of food you get. Owners are so sweet and funny. Highly recommend this place.

Been here twice, and I can say this is already one of my favorite Chinese restaurants around the Portland Metro/surrounding area. The prices are the best that I’ve seen and the quality is amazing. You can tell they put a lot of care into their food and the business as a whole. The staff are friendly and accommodating, service is quick, and you can’t go wrong with the lunch special for the amount of food you get. I’ve seen some dishes, too, that I don’t always see in Chinese restaurants, like the cashew dishes. The food also feels healthy and fresh not at all greasy or cheap. All in all, highly recommend! I plan to go here more often when I’m out in Forest Grove.

Been searching for good Chinese food; as it’s been hard to find since the plandemic. The few main places we have local are just not good. Decided to give this place a try; and I was not disappointed. The service was good. The food was hot and fresh. The dishes that were supposed to be spicy were definitely spicy. The portions are quite large; and our order was correct. For the money, it’s probably the best deal in town. I will be returning. I’ve added photos of the current menu. Finally good Chinese food again!!!
