This place is such a gem and I’m so glad my dad told me about it! Tucked away off the main drag in Goodlettsville lies this adorable and quaint meat and three full of warm hearts and tasty food. We were greeted promptly by the hostess and a few other people running around (for a good reason). We were sat quickly and two people actually came to greet us just to be sure we got our drinks. Our second waitress answered all of our questions about the menu with grace and was super friendly and gave us a few minutes to look things over since we told her it was our first time. I got the catfish, turnip greens, a side salad, pinto beans, and Mac and cheese. My friend got the fried chicken, tomato and cucumber salad, mashed potatoes, and Mac and cheese. Our food came out in under ten minutes and it was piping hot! After our belly’s were full, dessert was offered but we were rolling out of there stuffed anyways and we passed (next time). You pay on your way out and in everything was just immaculate. If you are looking for a cozy, family friendly atmosphere with people that treat you like family, this is your spot! Excited to go again!

There is a front and back entrance. You seat yourself. Each day’s menu is posted on the board. We got the grilled fish with two sides, 2 orders of chix strips with fries, a large oj, chocmilk and coke and it was $38 before tip. You pay up at the front door, not your server and they do take credit cards.

The team is very nice, place was clean, food was good.

Sunday lunch blew my mind! My sister introduced me today with chicken, dressing, Mac & cheese, Homemade sweet potato’s, green beans, cornbread and chocolate pie . I’m 63, cooked for 5 kids and now 16 grands, family and friends for years. Liz’s food beats mine (just by a tad) and even better I didn’t have to cook or clean it up. Absolutely Great tasting food! I’d give more than 5 stars if I could.

When I asked my waitress if I should order the wings or the catfish she told me they were both good. And let me tell you my wings were so good, now I have to go back to try the catfish

It’s a casual dining location, I can see how it gets a little chaotic because it can get busy! The staff is amazing, if you need something just let them know and they will be right back with it. You seat your self so make sure to let someone know you’ve seated!

I enjoyed the family feel of the place. You can tell it is loved.

Delicious! Everything I tasted- salmon patties, broccoli salad, butter potatoes, okra, White beans, pork chops- were all delicious. You can tell it was all made with real ingredients and love. This is truly your grandmother type cooking. Not to many restaurants like this still exist. Can’t wait to go back. Tje friendly service and homey atmosphere were cherries on top.

I’ve been here a few times with different groups of people. Every time the food and the service have been great. Always friendly. Always willing to answer questions about the menu. One friend liked it so much she came back later the same day for to-go orders for herself and some other friends.

This is a must stop whether you live in Tennessee or just traveling through. You got to support local restaurants .Came Sunday after church. It was kinda busy, but the customer service is top notch! For first timers, you can sit down at any open table and a server will come to you, the menu is posted on the wall. If you’re ordering takeout you can just order at the food line. Everybody is so nice that works here. They are all super friendly . I ordered catfish sweet potatoes, mac and cheese with jalapeno cornbread. Fantastic! Best damn catfish I’ve had spanning Nebraska, Texas and Tennessee! The portions are big, it’s reasonably priced, Family-Friendly environment. I know Liz is smiling down proud of all their hard work. Thank ya baby!”

Mashed potatoes
Jalapeño muffins

Everything was prepared to perfection.
The portions were generous.
The price was right.
The service was genuine and hospitable.

I’ll definitely be back. A+++

I tried this restaurant and really enjoyed it!! Came on a Friday looking to enjoy some wonderful catfish, saw closing time was 6pm and it also says 7a-6p on the door.., walk in and they are closed at 4p!!! My rating comes from a place of pain due to false advertisement. Update your information for those of us who care!!!!
