This place is trash! They really went down hill several years ago when they stopped serving the BBQ chicken which was the best item they had to offer. Everything here is always old and dried out. The chicken poppers are like trying to eat tree bark. This isn’t a one off thing either. I’ve tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt on numerous occasions but have been disappointed every single time. The coleslaw used to be really good too but they just switched up the recipe a few weeks ago and it’s trash now too. I swear it seems like this company has meetings on how to make the food suck even more than it already does. I would not recommend this place to an enemy. Even an enemy is human and deserves a better meal than this place has to offer. The staff are always very friendly though so I guess that counts for something.

We have loved Lee’s for years. Imagine our surprise when we ordered things we’ve always ordered and they didn’t taste ANYTHING like what we were used to!! The Cole slaw was always a favorite but my husband refused to eat this “new” Cole slaw .the noodles were barely seasoned and the chicken pieces are smaller and not seasoned the way they used to be. We spent $24 on food we didn’t eat! That will be our last time to go to lee’s chicken!

This is my second time visiting to try to order. My first time was not pleasant and I didn’t order. My second time I grabbed a menu and walked out. I came back in because the way Nakita was talking to the customers. She was so polite and down to earth and treating every customer as if they were part of her family just so loving and caring. Her customer service and personality was beyond awesome. She is the reason why I went back in to place my big order for my son’s birthday party. Nisa and Vannesa was in the kitchen working and I thought my big order was going to take a while but they were on point and even though they were busy and working hard they still communicated with Nakita and with the customers. The whole team that was there today was awesome and the food was beyond delicious it was a home cooked meal with love. My son was very happy and I was happy with the way I was treated. I wasn’t treated like a customer I was treated as like I was family and I loved it!! I will definitely go back if they are working!!! If I can give more stars I would!!!!

So I love chicken gizzards, and I’ve been to this place 3 times since I’ve moved from Florida to Illinois when I first got here in May and a couple one other time, and then today, which is February 25th and there I’ve had some gizzards and I love gizzard and their gizzards are disgusting outright gross. They’re strawberry is watered down and I know how Giorgi’s are supposed to be made because II love my gizzard, and the breading is not supposed to fall off the giuserds and the gizzard just nasty show.Yeah , I will never go there again

I had chicken yesterday and it was so bad. I haven’t been there once I found out the sweetest most respectful girl i believe her name is Azariah , I heard she quit working there . She was honestly the reason my husband and I started going back there. I hope to see her soon some day. She is seriously heaven sent.

I usually love Lee’s Chicken. But this time I ordered a chicken strip meal and always ask for the mildest chicken, due to stomach issues. For the first time I did not check the order till I got all the way home. No chicken strips, just a couple of chicken chunks with a couple of gizzards, that I hate. And they were so spicy I could not eat the chicken. The biscuits were also burned and inedible. This is the first time I received such a bad order from Lee’s Chicken but it was so bad I probably won’t return.

Got the gizzards dinner and a pot pie mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans pot pie was very worth the wait!! Fresh and hot from the oven…perfect amount of peas carrots and chicken crust nice and flaky and sauce was just right!! I love pot pie season..thank you so much…Jeanne Jones

Me and my mom came in there yesterday and only one of the cashiers was super friendly. She told me her name was Azariah. She was very respectful and had beautiful manners! I love to see it She looked everybit of 17 She was super super sweet! Food was delicious as well
