El Ranchito is one of the best restaurants for mexican food in the area. The dishes come out hot, well-seasoned, and generously portioned. However on my most recent trip I ordered the taco salad and I didn’t love it. I felt that it wasn’t very flavorful and just tasted sort of bland. I have tried many other dishes from this restaurant and never had this issue with anything else.
In addition, my sister’s boyfriend is a vegan and ordered the vegan chorizo tacos. He said it was one of the best vegan dishes he’s ever had, and implored me to include this in the review as to recommend this dish to other vegans.
The staff is typically friendly and the place has a relaxed vibe, where you can comfortably bring a group of people in for an easy dinner. I personally appreciate this compared to other restaurants that play loud music and have a lot of hustle and bustle.

Absolutely loved my experience at El Ranchito Mexican Restaurant in Clarence! ⭐ The food was flavorful and perfectly cooked — the dish I ordered came with deliciously seasoned rice, creamy refried beans, and a cheesy, savory entrée topped with chorizo that hit the spot. The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic Mexican comfort food!

I actually love this restaurant. I frequent here, because the food is great, the staff is friendly and welcoming, it’s clean, and they actually remember you! There was a time my order wasn’t right, it was the end of the evening (I had takeout), so they were closed by the time I was home and noticed. I called and left a message, and the manager called me back, pretty early the next day. She resolved it, and was just very pleasant.

You have to try the Carnitas. We couldn’t ask for a better wait-staff; attentive without being invasive. We had a family reunion (small) and we were given a very comfortable setting in the “back room”. Much appreciated! As far as kid’s menu, chicken fingers and French fries were hot and fresh. No leftovers from under a heat lamp. If i could change anything, it would be to go back to Coca-Cola instead of the new switch to Pepsi. Overall, very positive experience.

I ordered take out through this el ranchito location off Main Street. Upon opening my food, two of my three tacos had green mold on the corn tortilla shell. As someone who is currently pregnant, and as a human being, this is very concerning.

Food was great super fast . Like 5 minutes fast which leads me to believe that everything is premade, but it was very, very good. When we came in only 1 other table but the place filled in . Service was good but not great

I moved here from California 13yrs ago. I’m Mexican-American. Chicano. We’ve always loved El Ranchito. The Owner is Awesome. However, recently. The Service is not the same. Me and my long time friend from Mexico and his Wife from El Salvador went there last night. The waiter didn’t speak Spanish, which he doesn’t have to, but it was difficult for him to understand our orders and dishes. So another gentleman from the back came out to place our orders. The waiter never came around periodically to check on us to see if we were okay, refills etc. All the while playing rap music in a Mexican restaurant. I Love Rap music, grew up on it. However, in times past Mexican Music would be playing. Not anymore. Food was the same. Delicious. But Service and atmosphere has changed. Won’t be returning.

Amazing food and drinks! Don’t listen to the negative reviews, yes the owner/cook may have changed but the food still is absolutely delicious! We had the Birria Tacos & Enchiladas Suizas. The meat was so tender it melts in your mouth. Salsa is nice and a little spicy. We will be back soon
