HOWEVER, I really hate Mexican restaurants charging for chips and salsa. I get it if people come in and chow down on bowls of it while nursing a happy hour margarita but if I’ve committed to $15 meal, chips and salsa should be part of the package.
I ordered a taco salad with chicken instead of ground beef. It tasted great and was certainly plentiful but something in the meal made me sick and I had stomach cramps almost immediately upon leaving and for a few hours after (heating pad and ginger tea works wonders).
Finally, the place smelled horrible. There’s about 20 years of smoke embedded in the walls and upholstery and a strong mix of chemical smells seem to ride on top of that.
I wanted to like this place because it had good reviews and was close to the hotel but I just couldn’t.
Highly recommend the seafood enchiladas rich and flavorful. And for the vegans, the nopales tacos are a must. Honestly, this was a ridiculously lucky way to kick off our first day in Vegas.
The food and vegetable is really fresh.❤️ ❤️ ❤️ The taste is great! I love it! I love it! I love it!
The food was a bit of a miss. It looked delicious, well prepared and colorful. Which is why I was so disappointed when the flavor missed the mark for me. They aren’t bad, but they weren’t food either. Typical bar food flavor.
Overall, I’d come back for some drinks before hitting the strip and getting gouged for my money there.
I had the Chicken Wings and the Southwest Burger. The wings in a chili-lime sauce was just spicy enough and the wings were tender and fresh.
The Southwest Burger was fantastic. The burger is made from great quality meat with avocado and pico de gallo on a tasty brioche bun. They cooked it to an exact medium rare just like I ordered. The fries were just ok.
The service was great making today’s lunch at Paradise Cantina a great find.
*******Went back a second time during Happy Hour.***************
Had such a great experience the first time so I went back a second time. Different experience. It’s staring getting a bit busy and the server was having a tougher time keeping up. But what was troubling is that they just kept filling the restaurant exceeding Covid protocols with no seating areas blocked off. Paid my bill and got out.
Kale make one of the best margaritas I’ve ever had, and was great.
Food and drinks were not bad, but just ok nothing special.
