We had a fantastic experience at Applebee’s in Waycross, GA. Our party of 10 showed up last minute, and the staff handled it with ease and a great attitude. They quickly got us seated and made sure everyone in our group was taken care of from the start.
The service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and very detail-oriented. Managing a large group isn’t always easy, but our server and the team did an excellent job keeping drinks filled, getting orders right, and making sure everything came out in a timely manner.
The food and drinks were great, and the atmosphere inside the recently renovated restaurant was wonderful. Everything felt clean, comfortable, and welcoming, which made the whole evening even more enjoyable.
Huge thanks to the entire team for taking such great care of our group and turning a last-minute stop into a great dining experience. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Waycross!

I would have to say this was the worst experience I have had there… Last night 10/ 17/ 2025. Our waiter was great but the kitchen had Our order so messed up.. party of 9.. everyone got their food except my granddaughter which was just chicken tenders and cheese sticks.. and myself we sat there for over 15 minutes waiting on our food.. still nothing finally i said something to out waiter which he apologize and went to check on our food, now another 15 minutes ha e past they bring mine out but still no kids meal WOW… the waiter got the manager and he sure was not help he stood there speechless… like how does everyone get their food and it take that long for a kids meal… the she asked the manager for some ranch for her chicken, he said ill be right back..NEVER CAME BACK!!! Do better!!!

I went for lunch and ordered the chinese chicken salad.It was more than enough for 1 person and very good. – it had crunch from the chinese noodles, and the chicken was cooked perfectly.

Applebees in Waycross fired the best server/bartender(Tony ) they had over false pretenses!! He was the absolute best there and his service was impeccable. The times I went there and Tony was off the dining experience was horrible!!! I won’t be returning

The host was a young man, we think, we couldn’t see his face for his hair, and his clothes were dirty. Every host I’ve ever seen had to be spot on clean. The sweet tea was not sweet. Whoever makes the tea should be made to taste it. Exchanged the tea for two different kinds of lemonade and neither kind tasted like lemonade. Garlic parmesan chicken wings that were ordered, apparently the cook decided to not coat them in the garlic butter but to just fry them and just slap some shredded parmesan cheese on top dry chicken nuggets. I asked about something not being spicy and was informed it wasn’t but when I bit into the chicken quesadillo I was hit with load of spice. The host didn’t take into consideration that I’m handicapped and instead of seating us close by, he walked us to a table on the other side of the restaurant.

My wife and I had a date night there last night. It was our first time there. It was very nice. The food was good. Cooked just right. Martha’s steak was fire grilled, as was my burger. The atmosphere was very nice. It was really busy for the staff, and they were doing fine. All the new virus safety protocols were in place, and being used properly. Even though it was busy, we didn’t feel crowded. I’m definitely recommending it. Way to go Applebee’s. Thumbs up!

We got our food and seat for over 10 minutes waiting on silverware. Had a guy who works here went and got us silverware and napkins. We had plastic Gaven to us first. But the food was delicious.

Update:
Very good dessert. Very rude servers . We are eating and they are complaining about going home and the struggles of being a server, ok. The host was extremely sarcastic and said “I love being a Host” as we left the restaurant in a very uncomfortable manner. I’ll come back next year.

I want to share feedback in hopes it helps the restaurant improve. The server{Zoie} we had today was very rude and unprofessional, which really took away from the meal. I’d encourage management to look into staff training or accountability, because the service experience matters. Zoie didn’t smile or greet the table …there was a spill and she didn’t assist with the cleanup …I had to flag down another server for refills and more napkins ! Zoie judge our table the moment we walked in ! How ever the server kerston saw the way Zoie was treating us and took over the table and because of her kindness we tipped her instead of! Thank you kerston for all you help ! Because of you we will be returning!
