I ordered takeout from this restaurant expecting a good meal, but the experience was honestly terrible from start to finish. When I got home and opened my food, the shrimp was soggy, the broccoli was mushy, and everything was so soft it felt like I was eating mashed potatoes instead of a fresh cooked meal. Nothing was firm, nothing had texture just wet, overcooked, falling-apart food. After spending $55, I expected much better.
I called the restaurant right away to get the situation fixed. The manager told me there was nothing she could do because the kitchen was closed, but she could contact the GM. When we finally got the GM on the phone, instead of helping, we overheard her talking to the manager and she actually accused us of reheating our food, which makes no sense because we had just walked through the door after picking it up. Why would anyone reheat food they literally just got fresh from the restaurant?
We asked for either a refund or for our food to be remade. We were told no to both because it was 9:45 and the kitchen was closed. Then the GM said if we could make it there within 8 minutes she might be able to fix it, but then she changed her story and said she didn’t realize it was already 10:00. That was confusing and felt dishonest because the whole reason we were denied in the first place was because the kitchen was already closed. After that, she said the only option was to email her, then she refused to give her email.
So in the end, no refund, no replacement, no help, and no accountability. Just $55 worth of food that had the texture of baby food and a stressful conversation where we were treated like we were lying.
I never write reviews like this, but this was unacceptable. I genuinely tried to resolve the issue respectfully, and instead I left with food I couldn’t eat and customer service that made everything worse. I will not be returning.

This was our first time eating here and our waitress Blessing took our order. She was very polite, had a beautiful smile, answered our questions and even suggested a better menu option for me because I had wanted to add shrimp to my order, and I received exactly what I wanted the amount etc. She came and checked on us in a timely manner, gave us refills, and even came to tell my husband that the manager had taken a percentage of on the bill because it took longer that usual for his meal to come out. She apologized to him for the wait and kepted coming back to tell him how much longer it would be which some waitress in other restaurants normally don’t do that. We really enjoyed our ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS supper with her and next time we’re in Southaven, MS we will eat at Juicy Seafood again. Thank you for a wonderful time and ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS FOOD. WE GIVE 5 STARS FOR THE FOOD AND FOR OUR WAITRESS BLESSING.

Passing through town reconnected with family I haven’t seen in over 20 years. The food was amazing, the service was excellent. Don, our server was fun, attentive, and put up with our crazy asses laughing the entire time. Thank you to our server, Don and all the rest of the team working Sunday evening for a memorable experience I got to share with people I love and care for tremendously!

We had a party at Juicy… It was last minute, we spoke to the manager and explained our situation after lunch, she happily agreed to accommodate us! We got there and they had other birthdays/big groups already there, which scared us about service and food times (but we were wrong). Jazz, Te and the rest of the staff were super attentive, they made the birthday boys night, kept drinks full and made us all feel like we were guests in their home, there was never an attitude by anyone, and they were busy so there could have been… The food is hands down, the best seafood boil in the Memphis area and we have tried them all! The atmosphere makes you feel like you’re inside an old wooden ship, getting the food like it was just pulled from the depths of the ocean, music played not too loud, but loud enough to break the silence when needed. Overall I can’t thank Jazz and her team for an amazing experience and for making our night better than we anticipated. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND, and I have never given this type of recommendation on any review! We have for our new Seafood Gem! Feel safe taking your family there too! Thanks again Juicy, we will see you soon!!!

Today, on our mother-daughter date, we dined at the Southaven location. We love the seafood here. Today we were fortunate to have Trevor as our server; his energy and knowledge of the menu were incredibly helpful since we were unsure about what to order today. The atmosphere was lively, as always, and the music added to the great vibe good 80’s, 90’s early 2000 kinda vibe. The service was so great that my 13-year-old daughter had to compliment Trevor on his excellent service today( so not like her). So, if you ever stop by you won’t be disappointed at all and ask for Trevor.
