Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The service was superb. The drive through was incredibly long so we decided to go in. The service felt like I was special and they wanted to make sure I was happy, not just satisfied. The food was excellent and all was very hot. The store was very clean. There were about 10-12 patrons inside eating, but still clean. The condiments were full. All in all, a pleasurable experience for a fast food restaurant.

Ordered a regular single meal, paid and sat around for 20 mins. I had to go and talk to the front and they said they didn’t know what happened to my order. Of course they offered a refund but way to waste my time.

They are absolutely fantastic! They employees are always kind, polite and helpful. The restaurant is always clean. And the food is perfect every time! I do wish they were little bit quicker but overall they exceed expectations of a fast food place!

The service at the drive-thru was excellent. I didn’t see his name tag, but it was a young man with dark hair, and he had a piercing. The food is usually good. The strawberry milkshake was gross to me. However, my spouse loved it. I would eat here again. We ordered a Jr meal and a triple meal. It was $26 dollars. That’s expensive to me, for a fast food place. I recommend downloading their App to see the full menu and price guide ahead of time.

I like to say I have given up fast food. Its bad for you and has made me put on unwanted weight. So I have a real weakness for whattaburger. I had to go to walmart to get some things and what in the same parking lot a WHATTABURGER.. So I got a double whattaburger and a free jr because it was my birthday. No Im no pig I just ate the double. The food came out perfect. BUT thats about it with this location. The wait here is the worst of any whattaburgers I have ever been in I watched people stand around and not do anything the ones working looked like they were in slow motion.. A able body was outfront putting drink holders in bags???? Seriously you had the drive thru backed upand people waiting inside and you make them wait longer. People that came in after me got there orders I know they make every burger fresh but come on now. Plus i put my order online. I wont be back to this location… Sorry Whattaburger hire people that want to work…

I usually cut food service industry personnel.A lot of slack. I worked at a couple of different fast food restaurants in my youth. Plus, the employees of fast food restaurants have taken a lot of flack, very publicly, over the last couple of years. But honestly, this place has jus fallen off the last few years. First of all, if you go during any rush hour time, just expect the customer service to be rude and you will experience abnormally long wait times. Like twenty to thirty minutes type. And when I say rude I mean, short tempered and confrontational. Even when it has nothing to do with you. I complained about this to the female assistant manager in the evenings.As it has happened, more than once. Alas it has fallen on deaf ears. But at least the food was still okay until the last couple of months. Sandwiches that are just slapped together. Food orders incomplete or wrong. And I am having to turn around and drive back to get it fixed. Again, I complained to the managers on duty and it falls on deaf ears. Of course, examples can be given if management is interested. As a long term lover of What-a-burger this place has honestly become an embarrassment to corporate. Which is doubly sad, because this location used to be the good one. And everybody avoided the one in milton. Looks like that’s changing. I won’t be back until drastic.Improvements are completed.
