This was a great mexican restaurant. i have been here over the years and was pleasantly surprised with the facelift the place got! it has a great open space now with great photo opts for those who are all about it! I just had a great lunch experience at Plaza Azteca. The service was fantastic, and the prices on their lunch menu were great! I highly recommend the Chicken Burrito Bowl and the Burrito Texano – both were delicious. What stood out was how accommodating they were to my family’s and son’s needs. We felt very welcomed and well taken care of. Thanks for a great experience, we’ll definitely be back!

Typical Mexican restaurant. Chips with salsa and homemade white sauce served with every meal. Tons of parking since it is in Haygood shopping center. I love their table side guacamole, fajita burritos, and tacos at this location. My husband always gets the burrito California. It is huge and covered in queso dip.
Tip: Tuesdays 3-7 pm they have 1.00 tacos. Hard and soft. With the purchase of soft drink or alcoholic beverage.

I come to the Haygood location all the time. You can’t bet half-price margaritas. They got a dollar taco night sometimes super worth it. You can get a little twisty and get Spanish food all for less than $25. All in all good times.
