I have been coming here since they opened and I never had a complaint. That is until now. If I could give zero stars for the food I would. The quality of food has gone down TREMENDOUSLY. This is the 2nd time that I have gone and my food looks like this. During my visit last month, I had to have my order remade because it looked like they had refried old chicken. Looks the same again this time. The difference now is I’m posting a review and letting them know they have lost my business. I am done with this place. Also they have the gall to go up on the prices. This meal went up $2 within a month. Final note. The only positive thing I have to say is the person taking the call in orders and the cashier that waited on me today were both very pleasant.

I thought chicken wings were considered white meat?? I ordered 30 wings with fries the price was great the service was good. However once I got home I discovered the wings and fries were both dark and soft, they didn’t even taste fresh. This is a clear indicator that the food was refried.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the customer service I experienced at your establishment. Recently, I ordered a $5 boneless fish meal, but I received a portion with bones. When I politely requested that the drive-thru attendant, Jasmine W., correct my order, she responded by snatching the bag and using language that I found offensive. The situation escalated to the point where a supervisor or manager needed to intervene, as Jasmine continued to behave disrespectfully in front of a young employee who observed the incident without aiding in the resolution. As a loyal customer who frequents your business daily, I am very disappointed and feel unappreciated. While I find the food to be satisfactory, the level of customer service I encountered today was unacceptable. If such treatment persists, I will be compelled to reconsider my patronage and refrain from supporting your establishment in the future.

Last week I called in and ordered the family combo. When I came in they were visibly busy than usual as expected being that it was game day for the bears. The issue came about once I got home and noticed that not only did they give me the wrong fish but it was also not fully cooked. Once I finally got through the phone lines I spoke with a seemingly nice young lady who listened to my issue and told me that it wasn’t a problem that I couldn’t come back up there to get a refund or food remade. She told me that her manager wrote my name and receipt number down for when I’m able to come to the store and as long as I have my receipt they will accommodate my order. I was finally able to make it back to the restaurant last night. The manager that was working at the time was very rude and off putting. She showed no interest in even hearing what my issue was to begin with. She immediately disregarded what I was told by other management. She instead told me that she wouldn’t have told me to come with a receipt and she won’t help me unless I had the food or a name of the person I talked with. I told her that I did not have the managers name but to contact whichever manager working that day. She refused to attempt to find the managers name, she refused to look to see if my name was written down anywhere for a refund/or remake. When I asked for her boss information she said there was no general manager. I asked her who runs the entire store she gave me a man name that she also refuse to write down for me she instead told me to write it down myself although I had no pen or paper. I then asked her how the man’s name was spelled so that I can write it down once I get to the car she replied “if you can read you can spell, so you spell it” I then asked her who owns the store she basically threw my receipt back at me and told me it don’t matter he lives out the country and won’t be here till next year. She had the nastiest most rude customer service ever. Her attitude was nastier than the raw fish I was served. So basically they able to serve their customers uncooked food, lie to them as if they will solve the issue, just to turn around and refuse to solve the issue, have a disgusting attitude with you, and refuse to refund your money at the very least. My appetite, time, respect, and money was stolen by Stony Drive Fish and Chicken . I do not recommend no one to eat there they have no respect for the quality of food they are serving or their customers whose spending their hard earned money with them.

P.S.: I truly appreciate your rapid response and apologies but I will not be a returning customer. The customer service was too distasteful for me. I worked in food service for nearly ten years and I never displayed that kind of work ethic regardless how a customer behavior was especially if the customer wasn’t rude and obnoxious to begin with. I hope that you all can improve your employees interactions with customers because food that’s not fully cooked is much more forgiving than horrible customer service. I was impressed with the restaurant until this incident. Again thanks for the response.

I ordered the 2 gyros for $13.99 and they gave me the least amount of gyro meat I’ve ever had on a gyro. Literally 4 strips of gyro meat. I told they cashier about it, and she told Georgi, who was making the gyros, and he said they had no more meat. Georgi was making gyros and other food, skimping the customers on the product they paid for, because he felt he could get away with it and no one would notice. Boycott his place until they get rid of Georgi or they treat their customer, and their amount of food they give the customer, properly.

Stop hiring young nonchalant girls that dont care about their job for real.

Instructions were not followed for my order. No salt, pepper, or lemon pepper on my fries. No napkins were given either. When I worked places, I actually cared about the customer’s order.

Edit: I had two stars, but lowered it down to 1 star because the food is nasty and inedible. Chicken taste old and unreal.

The lemonade was tasty, but too pricey for the large size.

This is the 3rd time I have brought chicken from here the chicken doesn’t smell like chicken even before you take it out the bag. The chicken doesn’t taste like chicken. I went today asked them to freshly drop my chicken and I got a text 5 minutes later saying it was ready. I have gotten the legs, thighs and now wings and they all taste not like chicken and old meat at that. 3 strikes your out will never go back.

I was very impressed with my Lunch Specials. The Chicken was fresh and cooked correctly. The Shrimp too. This was my first time ordering or getting food from Stoney Island Drive Thru. As someone who has been dissatisfied from a couple of places that I did order from, an A+goes out to Stoney Island Drive Thru. And I will become a regular customer.

I go here quite often ordered a gyro meal and when I got home there were no fries, on another occasion ordered ten wings and when I got home there was only nine and when I went back to get it the young man said I was being petty. Went Monday and bought the five wing special they were so small they gave me six and they were hard and dried out, won’t be back anymore.

The food is affordable. I ordered the boneless catfish steaks and I also ordered fried chicken wings. The chicken wings were okay however, if you love fried catfish it’s a must that you give them a try. They also make in-house homemade beverages. The strawberry mango drink and the sour apple drinks are also delicious.
