This happened on Sunday March the 1st. I got there and placed my order. I was told it will be at least 15 minutes cause they didn’t have enough wings. Waited the 15 minutes and the lady come out and said they had issues with the oil. It had to be filtered then they will cook my order up. It would be a few more minutes. Total of 40 minutes I waited. She came out with my hot and fresh food, gave me a little extra for the wait and refunded my money. After being off from work the past three weeks because of a fall on ice this very kind gesture was much needed! I highly recommend this location. Thank you all so much!

Lisa in the drive thru was the best! My mom gets my daughter drumsticks and “the best Mac and cheese” often but I couldn’t figure out how to order that. Lisa came through in the clutch!

this is the best restaurant in the state- the entire world, even. I have eaten hundreds of pounds of lee’s, and I will probably pay for it in the coming decades. but there’s simply none better.
I enjoy sharing this “hidden secret” to folks who haven’t had the blessing of trying this chicken yet- yes, I have taken many dates here.
Danville’s branch has the friendliest people, the best deals, and super fast service. wanna be treated like family? just go here and get happy.

This Lee’s location is consistently good whenever we go, and the service is great. Everyone there is so kind and they go above and beyond to be helpful. They are even nice to my yappy little dog in the drive-thru!

Lee’s chicken is a local favorite and I can see why the KFC left town. Lee’s has excellent fried chicken and I get the tenders. They also have very tasty sauces. Surprisingly they are good on the service too and have a solid staff. The manager lady is always there though, she needs a vacation!! Either way, best fried chicken and sides in town.

Super busy, super delicious chicken! A few customers ahead of me were aggravated and giving the staff a hard time. Frying chicken takes a few minutes. People should get real with their expectations. I ordered a 3 piece mixed meal along with 5 tenders and all of our food was hot and delicious. Just under $20. A little patience never tasted so good.

Ordered a buffalo mac and cheese from this place…after getting home, I noticed they had literally punched in the bottom of the container to create less volume…rip off!
