We had such a great experience!! I went with my husband for my birthday dinner in August, and forgot to post till now! Food was delicious, hot, well seasoned and sooo yummy! The crab dip appetizer was to die for, the hush puppies were the best he’s had as well. HIs steak was top notch he said, and I think I got something called the Admiral’s platter, but all of my seafood was delicious and fresh and so so good. The little candle to keep the drawn butter warm and the strong cocktails were definitely a nice touch as well! It seems unassuming being in like a strip mall parking lot haha, but our experience was so delicious and happy, and our sever was AMAZING!!! Super nice, cool guy and very helpful and friendly. We can’t wait to go back next time we see his family in the Cleveland area. What a gem! SO wonderful!!!

The Lobster Pot did not dissapoint! My husband and I went for dinner our first time there. Ordered the lobster bites and ceasor salad as an appetizer. He got the perch dinner and I got the snow crab legs of course. Everything was so good! We will definitly be back.

Went on a snowy day. No waiting. Drinks were good . Service was great. Very attentive waiter. Loved the crab dip. Had beef filet skewers and shrimp. Steak was wonderful. Cooked to perfection . Found the atmosphere a little drab. Overall would definitely recommend.

We were there at 4:30 Valentine’s Day. We gave the waiter our order right away. He served the salads before the appetizers. Lobster tail dinner was cold and served with no butter. Kids dinner soaked in grease. Lobster roll was plain and bun dry. Never asked me how I wanted my lobster roll prepared. Forgot an order of mash potatoes and came after 15 minutes of dinner. Waiter never came back to table to ask how everything was till end to collect money. Very disappointed. Spent 400.00!

Disappointed! We went there for the first time on Wed. evening and they were not busy but the service was not great. Our server wasn’t attentive and the food was overpriced and not great. We ordered Sauteed Calamari (not much flavor), Ahi-Tuna (very thin slices of Ahi Tuna), and Lobster Roll (since I didn’t like celery, I ordered Connecticut-style. It just came with warm butter). We will not go back there again.

My wife and I went for our anniversary after reading about The Lobster Pot being #3 for seafood in The Plain Dealer. My wife loves seafood. The place was nice. The paper tablecloths had a bit to be desired though. We ordered a shrimp cocktail and stuffed mushrooms. The mushrooms were good, although a bit salty. The shrimp cocktail was a bit disappointing as the shrimp were a little small. My wife ordered the seafood boil and I got lobster/shrimp Newberg. The seafood boil came out looking good. Everything was hot and just as the menu showed. The shrimp were way bigger than the shrimp we got in the cocktail. For my side, I got a Caesar salad. Maybe it is just me, but a Caesar salad should be shaken in a container and mixed. I got romaine lettuce with a side of Caesar dressing. My Newberg was good, but the pasta had big chunks melted together? It was angel hair and there were many sections that were maybe 1/2″ in diameter all stuck together. It was a disappointment and not worth $42. Again, the shrimp were huge compared to the cocktail.
We will probably not be back. There are a lot of items on the menu to try, but it is a bit of a drive and we both said there are a lot of other options in Cleveland for a nicer dining experience.

Just so so, been there done that kinda place for us. Not worth 100 bucks for my wife and I. Apps not great. Had better stuffed mushrooms from the frozen section of the grocery store. Shrimp app tasted very fishy, like the shrimp was old. Clam chowder nothing special. House salad was good.Probably just fine, but never had a fishy shrimp before. Fish sandwich was great, but please peel the onion. Hard to eat the outer skin of an onion. Wife enjoyed the Paella. So meals good apps a miss.
Service seemed good, at least everyone else’s server seemed good.
Again…been there done that. I’ll spend that much elsewhere.

The service was excellent. The Admiral platter was really good. The yellow rice was very bland.

I can’t say enough about how incredible this place is! The food is amazing, the staff is very nice and helpful. We had Rockefeller oysters, crab stuffed ruby red trout, and salmon alfredo (technically not on the menu but they subbed salmon for me). We’re already talking about the next time we come!

Reservations are a must, I booked on line using my phone the afternoon of needed date.. Dinner was totally worth every penny. Food was so full of flavor with beautiful presentation. Service was on point and knowledgeable. Very clean atmosphere with a seaside ambiance. I’m definitely coming back. I don’t care how full you are I totally recommend getting a piece of the key lime pie and the pecan pie to go home with I don’t like pecan pie but I ate every bit of one we got LOL
