Maybe I dont have a lot to compare it to, but this is the best hibachi I’ve been to in a long time. 10 times better than the one in Lavale Md. Nice decor, inviting atmosphere, delicious food, clean bathrooms. Very large portions too. Great sushi selections.

The menu, wow. Hard to make decisions, almost too many choices. Got octopus appitizer, was so good. We each ordered raw roll, I got Summer Breeze so delicious. Worth the trip, oh and they have Sierra Mist in the soda fountain

@6 Spoke up..they forgot us, got seated…..
@6:20 order apps and food!…
@6:45 I get my 3 order sushi…..
@7:00 partner still hasn’t received his Beef Lomein…came up to us and say still working on it!??
@7:20 He got his BeefLomein.
@7:22 we left unhappy.
They did not look up our name for our reservation. We 100% could’ve made it up.. we just got out on a new listTreat your employees better!!
Want a tip of advice? You guys NEED to set a cap limit on how many people can fit inside!! You only have so many seats stop agreeing to so many reservations and not even rejecting any walk in. Valentines Day.

Went as a group of 10 for birthday dinner. Food was good and hibachi grilling is entertaining. Biggest drawback was the music was so loud we had to shout to communicate with each other in the group.

Budi is the best hibachi chef in all the land. His food is always top notch. When we can’t get up to Altoona and go anywhere but here it is usually never as good. We got hibachi chicken and shrimp plus a vegetable dragon roll. As always full happy bellies lol…

Good food. I got three rolls and should have only got two. Had to take left overs.
I will say though I was really wanting a saki and it’s BYOB only. I’m from out of town and did not know. If I had I would have gone somewhere else.
But everything was great other than that. If you’re looking for good food try it out. Just make sure you bring your own wine or alcohol if you want that

This is my third time here. Each time I’m in the area I make a point to stop by here. We haven’t tried the hibachi (though I hear the accolades about it!), but we get the sushi each time. This recent trip we got a few apps and the chef’s choice on 9 pieces of sushi. The spring duck rolls were SO good, the money bags are always a favorite, and we haven’t had a piece of sushi we disliked in the slightest. Service here is always fantastic. This past time we sat up at the sushi bar and it was cool to watch the assembly of it all. I WILL come back every time I’m in Altoona!!

We have been coming here for at least 5 years and it is most of the time good. The waitress and waiters are always so nice. The sushi is most of the time very good. The hibachi is good. The bento boxes are okay. We did not like the pad Thai. It was kind of flavorless and they did not seem to care that we said that we didn’t like it. We always love the Philadelphia roll and the California roll. We also like the eel cucumber. The white tuna is a little less consistent, but when it is good, it is good.

I never ate here but I do doordash to this place and the service for dashing is very slow I had to wait over 45 min for food . The lady told me that my order gept getting pushed back. So that was a strike against my husband because of the staff pushing my order back . And the customer was not happy we had to apologize to him for there slowness . So I hope the guys good was ok .

I was recommended by a friend. I ordered takeaway online. The food is very fresh, full of color and aroma. The teppanyaki is very delicious, and the toutai is also delicious. In general, the food is very good. I highly recommend AKI.
