I’m not sure what’s going at this captain Ds. When you go in it takes a minute before you are greeted stocking sauces and making tea are more important and why is there always something leaking from the ceiling with wet puddles in the floor with no caution signs? I ordered a fish and chicken dinner, I will give props where they are deserved the fish and chicken were cooked fresh but I guess they don’t know what happens to greasy fries and hushpuppies when they sit around. They become hard gresdy and unedible. It didn’t take long to eat 2 pieces of fish and chicken and I stopped by the counter on the way out showed the girl at the counter what I was served, I told them this is how you work yourself out of a job. If you can’t even get fresh food to a single customer and one in the drive thru where is the breakdown? I told them this is why I can’t get my wife to come back in here, the last time the baked fish was still cold on the inside. I love captain ds but I won’t go back to this nasty restraunt. I mean my God have some pride in your work even if you work at captain ds. Oh and in addition to the leaking ceilings missing booths I should have never stopped in the restroom before I left what’s that on a once a month cleaning schedule? I can only imagine what the people who work here live in at their own home….. unacceptable whoever your district manager is doesn’t know what they ate doing someone here would’ve been fired a long time ago. It might have been the worst fast food experience I have has in a long time. No offer of any refund just an apology and back to work.

The manager that has been there for the last 7 months named Shante or however you spell it is horrible. She was blaming the drive thru worker for her mistake of giving my food to another customer. When she was remaking it, she slammed not only my food but others. Her attitude did not reflect that of a manager. When requested a refund for such horrible service, her attitude got worse. Even the coworker wanted me that I was definitely not the only one that complained today. This location will go further down hill as long as they continue to have Shante represent them. Horrible service.

New in town from San Diego due to work assignment here in Cartersville, i used Captain D’s app to place an order and went to the store for pickup. As soon as i walked in, a young lady( i think her name was Kirsten) greeted me with gorgeous smile! I don’t remember how many times I was greeted with smile at a fast food restaurant, probably never, haha. Not just me, she was also smiling while taking order for the next customer and even to a Doordash driver! She was super kind and nice brightening the place. Also, it seemed quite busy during dinner rush, but the lady in the back, most likely the manager, was directing this and that, acting like a maestro in an orchestra. As a result, in no time I got my order and left…. Then why the 4-star and not 5? The food was just an okay, that’s why, haha, but i guess that’s pretty typical for fast food joint…. However, i will return to try other menu items, definitely!!!

We ordered through the drive thru last Sunday night October 26, 2025. There were only 2 workers inside. We were greeted by an older white gentleman. We think his name is David but we’re not sure. He was the nicest man. He didn’t let the stress of being short staffed steal his joy☺️. The food was hot and everything we ordered was in the bag. We have nothing but good things to say about the service we received. He is a great positive asset to Captain D’s.

Momma and I went to Captain Ds for dinner. We realized the drive-thru speaker was not working, and there were four automobiles in line. So, we decided to go inside to get our food. There was not a line inside. The employees were very pleasant. After placing the order, I did not have time to go get the drinks before our order was ready. We choose to bring it home to eat. Momma enjoyed her 2pc fish dinner. I got the 4pc chicken tenders. The tenders had a lot of batter on them and just were not all that good.

Hi I’m Mike.. I stopped by to get a two piece fish dinner to go when I got home.,The fish was still piping hot ,green beans fresh ,the fish was fresh. I ordered a roll instead of a hush puppy. It just melted it in my mouth. I haven’t tasted fish like that in a quite some time!!! keep up the great work.!!

I swear I love some captain D’s. I really despise this one in Cartersville. I like the lady who works the window in the evening but the food is horrible. I’m so confused how people work here and just throw your food together like nothing. I ask for Cajun and it wasn’t. Then she passed food back to the back and they toss it on there like they didn’t care. My potatoe was cold and half done. My fish cold looked like who bit it and plain. I work to hard to pay this money to receive this kind of service after helping put smiles on people faces when I’m at work. Horrible and unsatisfactory. I miss being in Gwinnett.

Service and food sucks. I have avoided posting a review but this time I feel the staff needs more training. During each visit, I place my order at the drive-thru. The manager of the Cartersville location is not welcoming and the food quality is poor. It tastes frozen farm raised or like it was created in a laboratory. The meal is over priced for an unenthused staff and horrible tasting food.

Arrived at 905 but google says open til 10 – only drive thru is open till 10. Food was Luke warm. Requested double fries – check the photo! Used to love captain Ds, but not any more.
