If you’re looking for one of the best French onion soups in New Jersey, Michael’s Roscommon House in Belleville is a must.
I’ve tried many French onion soups around NJ, and the gratin on this one was perfect. The broth was rich, the cheese melted beautifully, and everything was well balanced.
We also had the garlic and cheese Jersey wings with their house sauce — full of flavor and absolutely delicious. The mac and cheese was super creamy, loaded with cheese, and easily one of the best I’ve had.
The ribeye with spinach was cooked to the perfect temperature, and the blue cheese burger with bacon and onion rings had the perfect balance of creamy and crispy. The mushroom pizza with extra cheese was also excellent.
The menu is diverse with Irish, Italian, and American options. Great atmosphere to watch the game with friends or come with family.
We’ll definitely be back.

As a chef and restaurant (pizzeria) owner myself I’ve never been more disappointed in food I’ve been served. Jersey tenders more like Tyson tenders tossed in wishbone Italian dressing with parmigiana cheese and Italian seasonings. As for the vodka sauce roni and burrata pizza there was zero vodka sauce and at most half a ball of burrata split between 6 slices for 21$. This pizza wasn’t worth the dough it was made on and they should be ashamed of the price they charge for a pizza with zero notable qualities. This pizza never would have made it on to my menu and needs a lot of work to even be considered decent pizza. The onion rings were the star of the show, just wish they would have been served with some sauce for dipping.

My wife and I randomly picked this spot for lunch and we were pleasantly surprised.
We started with the smothered vodka roni knots — soft, fluffy, and full of flavor with just the right portion size for two.
The Mason jar lemonade was light, refreshing and perfect for the sunny weather.
I ordered the Blackjack burger, which was juicy, seasoned perfectly and cooked just right.
My wife had the Italian cheesesteak and it was packed with flavor — the garlic bread used for the sandwich really took it to another level.
A great local find with friendly staff, hearty portions, flavorful food and a comfortable atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

I’ve been here a few times and have to say that my server, Allison, was the best ever! She’s so fun and helped to create an atmosphere that made me want to come back for more the next week. I highly recommend going during Happy Hour for their cheap yet delicious drinks/shots. You HAVE to get the Mozzerella sticks and curly fries- they are the BEST EVER to pair with your $5 margarita.

I was only there for apps and a beer but both were good. We had some wings and I had a Kane. Others enjoyed a beer tower that they shared (and had dinner after I left and enjoyed the steak sandwich and other food). I will add to this review when I’m back for a longer stay. Vibe was part sports bar part dive bar, in a good way. Bar was huge and seating seemed plentiful but I could imagine this place getting crowded.

It was definitely loud but it’s a great place! Great drinks, good service & if you like watching sports it’s great for that too! I’m so glad this is one of my local places! I had the curly fries & shared my friends wings. They were crispy & tasted fresh! They have good prices too! I’ll definitely be going here again!

The food is always delicious, never a bad meal. Owners are friendly and very hospitable. Service is attentive and friendly. The dinning room is comfortable and has very comfortable seating and space. Been here on multiple occasions. From their wings to their amazing appetizer selection everything is a hit. Entrees are very well portioned and price is great. Highly recommend for a delicious dinner after a long

This place was cool. Nothing really out of the ordinary, I will say the customer service was great. That’s always a big thing for me. The food was your typical bar food. I got the California club wrap with fries. Make sure to get some chipotle sauce to help give the wrap a little more flavor .
