Flipping delicious! I had the ravioli with homemade meatball. Sooooo good. Also the cranberry salad. Had candied pecans—yum!
My date had the Italian beef sub and LOVED it. He also loved the cranberry salad.
Harmony is a great server! Friendly and knowledgeable. Took her time with us even though we came in a little closer to closing time.
Amazing food and reasonably priced.

It has been more than a decade since I’ve eaten here, I just moved to Golden and I used to have a friend who was going to School of Mines. I remember the place more fondly from the past. I ordered eggplant parmesan and it was overcooked and rubbery, the pasta was blimped up and way past al dente. I had three other guests at my table and the one who ordered a sandwich reported the best results but the other two were also disappointed with the overcook on the pasta. The marinara sauce is mid quality at best, barely better than jarred sauces. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly but they really need to up the food quality. The atmosphere is pleasant and slightly upscale over basic. Presentation on the food was very appealing, sadly the quality didn’t match.

This is a simple, family-friendly Italian restaurant that, just so happens, to have incredible food…food that you’d find in a much fancier place. The sauces were spectacular. Obviously house-made. The atmosphere was quaint, but clean.
I highly recommend:
-The Italian cold cut
-The gnocchi
-Pistachio cake
-Tiramisu
-and the mouth-watering steak sandwich, the “steak bomb”!!!

I’ve always enjoyed dining at Bono’s. Their food is fresh, tasty, and delicious! During our last visit (07/28/2025), our server Harmony made our family dining experience extra special w/ her upbeat, energetic, friendly, and extremely positive and engaged attentive service. All our selections were perfectly prepared, portioned. presented, and at the optimum temperatures. We look forward to our next visit.

soooo slow, but we went when they were busy as crap on a Friday night. that said, WOW food. Just wow. 6 star flavors! and portion size is another 6 stars! the spinach dip was made from scratch and DELISH, highly recommend it. their salads are fantastic, amd the Italian Beef Sammy was too hot for me and I love spicy, but it tasted so dang good I couldn’t stop eating either. im a sucker for Italian Soda, theirs didn’t disappoint.
cant wait to come back. def need to try their pizza, it seems quite popular and looked nice.
the prices seemed VERY nice for the portions and quality, gonna recommend this place to others without a doubt.

Updating review. Tried this place again with delivery and were really disappointed. I got the penne pesto and couldnt eat more than a few bites. The flavor was just not good and the meatball had a mealy not good texture. My boyfriend got one of the 10 inch pizzas and it was doughey and not cooked all the way through.
From other pictures id seen, I was expecting not to like the pizza from this place, but I was very pleasantly surprised! The pizza had a good, thin style crust, plenty of cheese and not chewy at all! I wish the crust had a little more crunch on the bottom, but over all we really enjoyed it.

I’ve eating at your restaurant for quite a while now (at least 50 times) and the service used to be great but I don’t think so anymore. Your new wait staff don’t know about the daily specials? How much they cost and what time they go till. The last couple of times I came in I have been charged different prices for the same meal. I love your food but the service has not been up to par with the way it used to be.
