One of my coworkers recommended this spot so I figured I would check it out. I ordered the poblano burrito and they also give you complimentary chips and salsa. The chips and salsa were excellent and the burrito was decent! The burrito looks big but it isn’t packed super full and could have used a little more steak, onions, etc.. However, after tax and tip, the total was around $20 so it wasn’t super expensive. The cheese sauce was delicious and you get a nice heat from the poblano peppers too. I didn’t catch my waiters name but he did a great job and was friendly so bonus points for good service.
The only thing I wasn’t thrilled about was they added taco meat to the burrito even though it doesn’t call for it on the menu. I thought maybe it was just a mistake at first but then noticed it was throughout most of the burrito. If you are going to add filler to the burrito, it should probably be something that is included in the description of the item. I think the presentation could’ve been tightened up just a little bit more too.

Mexico meets the snowy north! Finally I find a Mexican restaurant that makes a real Margarita (you can taste the tequila here people) and amazing food. I love Mexican but this place hits a little different with amazing atmosphere, staff and product quality. Try is I swear you won’t regret. Officially my favorite Mexican restaurant!

Azul Tequila Bar was an exquisite choice! The service was impeccable, and the culinary delights were a symphony of freshness and flavor. Wow! For the most part, a great experience!
Great location and very easy to get to.
The drinks were great. We started with a cucumber margarita and a Jalapeño margarita. Both were very flavorful, fresh and just terrific. Highly recommend those two. We also tried the raspberry margarita and it was awful. Just artificial flavored, nasty tasting raspberry. Don’t get that one.
The food was absolutely delicious phenomenal! And man, not just delicious, but the quantities are huge. You’re definitely bringing home leftovers. If you don’t want them, I’ll take ’em!
Our server was wanting to be anywhere but there and she’s the reason for four stars. Her service was lackluster. Honestly, when we go back and if we get her, we’ll ask for someone else.
Other than her and the raspberry margarita, it was awesome! Definitely will go back.

Took my family out tonight. Started with margaritas 1) short, Top shelf, and tall, Classic margarita . Both were good but the margarita called “Top Shelf “ was the best, if you like it not sweet , authentic Mexican margarita . All good ordered was very tasty would highly recommend any of these dishes: Food- 1) chicken and spinach enchiladas- my mom said was really good .2- Burrito casa- my daughter loved this dish . 3- enchiladas Mexica- one of each enchiladas- very good 4- burrito bowl with steak – great meal for anyone in a low carb diet. 5- pick 2; my son chose soft taco with steak and cheese, rice and beans no lettuce . Update: this place became our family’s favorite restaurant- a little loud, but the food and service is outstanding.

As always – this is hands down the best Mexican restaurant you will find in western Wisconsin AND the east metro of Minneapolis / St Paul. I firmly believe that. Azul is beyond consistent in always making our visits perfect. I have never had a bad meal, I have always had outstanding service, and the vibes are always immaculate. You can’t beat Azul. Can’t wait to go back!

Had a wonderful dinner here. The atmosphere and decorations are beautiful and make you feel welcomed. It is truly impressive. The menu is quite large with lots of choice. Our server was a little slow and I don’t think my margarita was made with Herradura tequila as I asked for. The margaritas was very sweet. The chips and salsa were excellent though, just the right crispness and not greasy chips while the salsa tasted great, but maybe not super fresh. The portions are insanely HUGE.

Fantastic little Mexican restaurant and Bar in Hudson!
Had a fabulous lunch today tacos were fresh hot and delicious.
The service was quick and courteous.
I would say it’s about 10% a little expensive but still worth it.

Nice Mexican restaurant with big portions and small prices. Food tasted good and pretty authentic. Drinks were also good. Service was great and very attentive. There is a decent sized patio as well as plenty of seating inside. Great value. Have been back many times.

Great Mexican food and really friendly service! Our waiter is always really helpful and patient with us as I have a really hard time with picking something off the menu (so many good things to pick from). Food is delicious and piping hot. Not over priced either. Highly recommend for a quick tasty bite. This place is always busy, but you still get seated fast and your food is out before you know it!
